Spatial Spillover Effect Of Agricultural Insurance On Poverty Reduction From A Multidimensional Perspective

Since the reform and opening up,China has made brilliant achievements in poverty alleviation and reduction.The year 2020 is the last year for China to comprehensively win the battle against poverty.At present,China’s poor population is mainly concentrated in remote rural areas,so how to solve the problem of poverty alleviation of farmers in these areas is the top priority of China’s poverty alleviation work.Agricultural insurance,as an important tool for transferring risks of agricultural production and operation,compensating for disaster losses and restraining the fluctuation of farmers’ income,plays an important role in poverty alleviation and poverty reduction in rural areas.In this context,the research on agricultural insurance poverty reduction and its regional differences from a multidimensional perspective is of great significance to the continuous promotion of poverty alleviation and poverty reduction in China and the development of agricultural insurance in China.Based on the agricultural insurance,slowing of the multidimensional poverty,poverty,and space overflow related theory,analyzes our country agricultural insurance and the present situation of the poor,expounds the role of the agricultural insurance under multidimensional poverty poverty reduction path,using China’s 30 provinces panel data from 2007 to 2018,build different dimensions of poverty indicators,the doberman model with respect to agricultural insurance spillover effects to the space of multidimensional poverty slow study,found that under the economic dimension,the agricultural insurance cost of poverty has significant poverty reduction effect,the region the development of agricultural insurance in adjacent areas have a certain role in promoting;In the social dimension,the increase of the proportion of agricultural insurance premiums in neighboring areas is beneficial to the alleviation of rural poverty in this region.In the medical dimension,if the proportion of agricultural insurance premium income increases,the degree of rural medical poverty will decrease.In the educational poverty dimension,the increase of agricultural insurance premium is also the guarantee of farmers’income.On this basis,this paper puts forward some policy Suggestions on improving the insurance guarantee in poor areas,actively guiding farmers to participate in insurance and improving the management system of agricultural insurance.
