| Objective:With the continuous development of science and technology,the development of academia is also very fast,and the evaluation of academic journals is gradually improving.By studying the measurement indexes of the 2021 edition of China Science and Technology Journal Citation Report(Core Edition),it is found that in the process of evaluating journals,the evaluation indexes of reference quality are relatively lacking.As an important part of academic journal papers,the quality of reference plays an important role in journal evaluation.Based on the above problems,this paper attempts to analyze the influence of the quality of academic journals’ references on the quality of academic journals by studying the characteristic indexes of references and the metrological indexes of reference source journals,so as to provide a new perspective for the evaluation of academic journals.Method:Literature research method: Based on China National Knowledge Network(CNKI),combined with other Chinese and Chinese databases,the subject of periodical evaluation and related synonyms were searched,and the articles found were identified,screened,read and reviewed.Through the study of relevant literature,the basic understanding of the research topic has been established,and the current domestic academic research on the evaluation of academic journals and the research situation of reference literature has been understood.Citation analysis:(1)Cluster analysis is adopted to analyze the articles selected from Chinese database and analyze and discuss the analysis results.(2)Fine BI 5.1.0 is used to draw the word cloud map for the reference source journal data of the selected sample journals,to show the distribution of data of each group of sample journals,and to see the distribution of each group of reference source journals more intuitively.(3)Statistical methods were used to analyze the correlation between some indicators of the characteristics of the references and some indicators of the reference source journals,to explore the differences between these indicators in different groups,so as to obtain the relationship between the quality of the journal of medical university and the quality of the reference literature,and to judge the evaluation function of the quality of the reference literature in the evaluation of the journal of medical university.Result:(1)Cluster analysis results show that the evaluation of academic journals can be divided into 5 categories,and the evaluation indexes such as reference and impact factors are classified in the same category.(2)Word cloud map results showed that there were journals with high self-citation rates in the three groups of journals,indicating that the data of each group tended to refer to the journals of this group.(3)By conducting research on the selected samples,it shows that the ratio of foreign languages in the journal of medical university of our country,the number of average citations,the core total citation frequency,core authority factor,the ratio of fund papers and total scores of comprehensive evaluation in source periodicals are statistically significant between groups.The journals with high overall score of comprehensive evaluation were higher than the other two groups in corresponding indexes,and the corresponding indexes also decreased with the decrease of total score of comprehensive evaluation.Conclusion:(1)Cluster analysis shows that references and impact factors are in the same category,but the results show that there are relatively few studies on references.The results of statistical analysis show that the quality of references has a positive effect on the evaluation of academic journals to some extent,so it should be considered whether some other indicators of references can be included in the evaluation of academic journals.(2)The results of statistical analysis showed that 6 of the 9 indexes in the study had statistically significant differences between groups,indicating that these 6 indexes had a positive effect on the quality evaluation of journals,providing a new perspective for evaluating the quality of journals from the quality of references,and providing a new perspective for the evaluation of journals and the selection of manuscripts. |
