In recent years, due to rapid economic development and changes in consumer attitudes, people are demanding higher and higher quality of fresh produce. As a result, various data such as distribution vehicles, distribution costs and carbon emissions will increase with the growth of demand. In addition, fresh agricultural products have the characteristics of perishability, locality and short life cycle, which require logistics enterprises,as the important bearer of goods storage and distribution, must ensure the quality of products on the way to distribution. The operation of refrigerated trucks and refrigerators will also bring the corresponding carbon emissions, and the excessive carbon emissions will seriously pollute the ecological environment and endanger people’s health, which is contrary to the low-carbon economy advocated by China. Therefore,it is especially important to take into account the benefits of the enterprise and the environment in the distribution process of fresh agricultural products. The first chapter of this paper firstly introduces the background and research significance of the thesis, then collates the relevant literature on low carbon logistics and the optimization of the cold chain logistics path of fresh agricultural products, based on which the research content, method, technical route and innovation points of this paper are elaborated.Chapter 2gives an overview of theories related to low carbon logistics and path optimization of fresh agricultural products cold chain logistics. The third chapter introduces three common distribution modes of fresh agricultural products cold chain logistics in China, and discusses the circulation situation of fresh agricultural products and the shortcomings of them, and finally researches the influencing factors of carbon emission in the distribution process from the aspects of fuel consumption and on-board volume of distribution vehicles.Chapter 4 introduces the optimization objectives, modeling ideas and modeling assumptions of the path optimization model, and establishes the path optimization model, which takes the least comprehensive cost as the optimization objective, and takes into account the interests of enterprises, customers and ecological environment.Chapter 5 introduces the concept, operation steps and advantages and disadvantages of the genetic algorithm, and the actual data of a cold chain logistics enterprise in Dalian is substituted into the model, and the genetic algorithm is designed and solved using MATLAB software.Chapter 6 summarizes the research conclusions of this thesis and the shortcomings, and presents the research outlook in terms of the assumptions, considerations and algorithm selection for constructing the model.
