Research On The Evolution Of The Role Of Traditional Media Hosts From The Perspective Of Media Convergence

The development of science and technology and the wide application of the Internet have brought about profound changes in media contact behavior and media use.In the Internet age,new media has sprung up like mushrooms,and a variety of expressions and shooting methods have appeared in front of the audience.In this case,if traditional media want to develop healthily and for a long time,it is bound to integrate with new media,so that the elements of traditional media and new media elements are widely combined.The communicator is a key link in media convergence.The traditional media host wants to gain a firm foothold in this media change,and also actively carry out role evolution,so as to obtain a broader development space and be favored by the audience in the environment of media convergence.This paper takes Henan TV host Han Jia as an example to study the role evolution of traditional media hosts from the perspective of media convergence.First of all,the introduction part analyzes the background and significance of the evolution of traditional media hosts.Through the integration of some articles and data,the first chapter explores the current situation of media convergence and the characteristics of media convergence in China,and more comprehensively and stereoscopically shows the current media environment and the necessity of the evolution of traditional media hosts.Secondly,in the second chapter,through a comprehensive analysis of Han Jia ’s audio language,paralanguage and expression content in the ’ Fishing and Sunning Net ’ program,as well as her changes in the context of media convergence,Han Jia was finally determined as the research object of this article.Then,the third chapter analyzes the role evolution of traditional media hosts by combing the previous research results and reading the literature.Due to the rise of UGC,the generalization of communication platform and the single presentation mode,the audience selection is diverse.Based on the advantages of previously accumulated team,equipment,endorsement and professional ability,traditional media hosts should change their roles in four aspects :communication concept,communication role,communication mode and communication channel.Finally,the paper puts forward the role evolution strategy of traditional media hosts in the media convergence environment,which can carry out reform and innovation,strengthen personal brand and expand the influence.This article uses the literature analysis method,case analysis method and interview survey method to analyze and study the role evolution of the host.In the process of writing the paper,the research object of this paper,Han Jia,conducted a face-to-face interview,learned the latest and most authentic first-hand information,and had a strong support for the study of the role evolution of traditional media hosts.With the deepening of media convergence,traditional media hosts have to change their roles.Through the analysis of Han Jia ’s role evolution and the evolution of traditional media hosts,this paper puts forward some strategies of role evolution,hoping to provide some reference for the role evolution of traditional media hosts in the media convergence environment.
