Role Conversion And Orientation Of Interview Presenters In The Context Of Media Convergence

The development of TV talk shows began with "Oriental Live Studio" of Shanghai Oriental Television in 1992,and then the "Tell It Like It Is",which was planned and broadcast by CCTV's News Review Department in 1996.Since then,the number of talk shows that have been followed by TV stations across the country has increased,and a group of excellent hosts of TV talk shows have also appeared.Among them,Shui Junyi,Cui Yongyuan and Dou Wentao are the most prominent.However,with the advent of the Internet era,especially under the impact of network media,the disadvantages of the role-immobilization of the hosts in traditional TV talk shows and the rigidity of the role-interaction mode gradually emerged.The dilemma of falling ratings and the suspension of programs objectively makes it necessary for this type of program and hosts to seek the path of change in innovation.The internet breaks down the barriers between different media,and forms the aggregation of various information in the pattern of content dissemination,thus creating the concept of " Media Convergence".As for mass communication under the mode of Media Convergence,when considering the symbolic characteristics of different audiences,the author believes that it is still necessary to publicize positive energy and open up new situations in its content,which is also the new challenge for the roles to the creative groups,including these hosts of talk shows.This paper studies the role of the hosts of the talk shows from the perspective of media convergence,analyzes and deconstructs it based on the role theory.At the same time,it also integrates the relevant theories of dramaturgical and rhetoric to carry on the comprehensive discussion.Firstly,the author reviews and locates traditional TV talk shows and their hosts,analyzes the reasons for their role imbalance.Then,the author elaborates on the new characteristics of the host's role in the research text of the Media Convergence talk shows represented by " A date with Luyu : A star's day " and " YI'S TIME ".In the end,the author expands the discussion from the role-playing mode and the role interactive relationship in order to jump away from the research background of traditional radio and television,combine the characteristics of Internet communication,and interpret the role characteristics of talk shows' hosts from the perspective of media convergence in a clearer and more intuitive way.Apart from that,this is also in the hope of providing certain reference for the creation of new talk shows centering on the hosts in the media convergence environment,providing more scientific theoretical reference for its development and exploration,so as to promote the cultivation and long-term development of hosts from this type of programs.
