The Construction Of Media Space In Rural Public Radio In The Post-Epidemic Era

With the development of the times and the progress of science and technology,the construction of the Internet is really gaining momentum.The Internet of Everything has become the new normal of people’s lives,and a lot of things are being digitalized and intelligentized.What’s more,the new media based on the Internet are gradually becoming the mainstay of many media,playing a very important role.In 2020 the outbreak of covid pandemic broke the original rhythm of people’s lives and caused serious impacts on all aspects of society,and a wide range of rural areas was no exception.Rural areas were not spared,and rural public radio,the ultimate medium in the rural broadcasting system,played an indispensable role in rural epidemic prevention and control efforts and also became popular on the Internet.Recently,rural radio stands out in the prevalence of new media and plays an important role in rural areas.This paper examines the reasons for the vitality of rural public radio in the new era and its deeper meaning,and the ritual is a unique perspective.In this paper,taking rural broadcasting as the research object in the post-epidemic era as the research background,literature research method,case analysis method,and participatory observation method are adopted.This paper analyzes and studies the media space construction of rural broadcasting from the perspective of communication ceremony,and deeply probes into the cultural implications of rural broadcasting media space and the future development of rural broadcasting.The study finds that in the post-epidemic era,the characteristics of the times and the rural situation provide an enabling environment for the development of rural radio,and rural radio has different expressions in each era.In the new era,rural radio exists in the countryside,and its ritual characteristics are more prominent under the double burden of national significance and rural significance.On this basis,this paper divides the media space of rural broadcasting into three types: media reach space,media content space,and media social space,and interprets them from the perspective of rituals,integrating ritual forms,ritual participants,ritual narratives,ritual expressions,and ritual shaping into the media space,so that time and space can be unified in the dimension of relationship and meaning,and then considers the cultural meaning of the media space of rural broadcasting and the future development of rural broadcasting.Rural public radio is a necessary existence in rural areas and an integral part of rural revitalization,and ritual is an important force in its development.
