Research On Privacy And Security Of Open Archives

As the public’s awareness of archival information continues to grow and their desire for knowledge increases,the opening of archives is becoming the most important archival task for major archives.The extent to which archives are open,the archival information that is open,and the ways in which archival users can access open archives have become important indicators of the level of service provided by an archival unit,and an important way of realising the archival value of archival information that is about to be dusted off or has been dusted off for many years.As archives become more and more connected to the community,the issue of information privacy is gradually revealed.Therefore,it is particularly important to safeguard privacy in the process of open access to archives.Privacy and security of open access to archives is the cornerstone of archival work and the lifeline of open access to archives.From the initial collection of information to the preservation of the archives to the opening of the archives to the access to the archives,each link requires the support of personnel,technology and the environment,and only when each link is interlocked and coordinated can the security of the archival information content be guaranteed.Due to the difference between Chinese and Western ideology and culture,the awakening of China’s citizens’ privacy awareness is relatively late,resulting in a certain gap between China and foreign countries on the privacy and security issues related to archives,but with the continuous improvement of the "Archives Law of the People’s Republic of China" and "Measures for the Opening of Archives",the privacy and security issues in the field of archives have been paid attention to and implemented in archives work,making all aspects of China’s archives develop healthily,rapidly and sustainably.Starting from legal provisions and actual cases,the author will explore the problems existing in relevant laws and regulations,archivists,users,open use platforms,etc.,and on this basis,propose an optimization plan for the privacy security guarantee of open use of archives from the aspects of laws and regulations,archivists,users,and open use platforms.
