In the era of big data,with the development of networking and commercialization,children’ personal information is being collected and abused by enterprises and institutions in new forms.Therefore,the protection of minors’ information is becoming more and more important.But our country’s legislation and network platform is adult’s point of view to design,are not as an object of the development of the children,and no considering the minors the cognition to the personal information and strategy,in order to better protect the rights and interests of minors,we need more evidence,to seek the balance of child protection and online participation.Through the "child-centered" method,this study adopts the research method of in-depth interview,listening to children’s voice,considering children’s experience,exploring children’s cognition and attitude towards personal information,protection strategies,and their understanding of the digital environment and ecology.This study found that children are concerned about their offline privacy and online privacy,and will adopt a variety of privacy protection strategies.They think more about privacy in terms of cyber security and stranger danger,but they also value personal privacy and use interpersonal assumptions to understand how institutions and businesses handle personal data.Therefore,they ignore the existence of behavioral data and inferential data,find it difficult to understand commercial privacy and institutional privacy,and their protection strategies are more inclined to maintain their personal privacy.In view of children’ understanding of personal information and the strategies they adopt,this study puts forward suggestions from three aspects:national legislation,children’media literacy and supervision of network environment.The most important of all,this study found that children are difficult to understand how their privacy in the era of big data reconfiguration,individual cognition also has the very big difference,so we have to take the children as the center,think seriously about every experience,demand and development way of children,teach what they really need the knowledge and skills,improve the network environment,to let them in when you meet the privacy risks can make decision in their best interests.
