In the process of Internet globalization,international social platforms have become an important position for international communication.In recent years,with China ’s rising international status in the world,overseas social platforms have also become a new front for China ’s external publicity.With the continuous upgrading of mechanisms such as " the Belt and Road," " Lancang-Mekong Cooperation" and " RCEP " and the opening of the China-Laos Railway,China ’s exchanges with neighboring countries have become closer.As one of the most important neighboring countries in southern China,Myanmar ’s bilateral relations are particularly important both historically and realistically.Yunnan and Myanmar are connected by mountains and rivers,integrated by economy,similar in culture,and close to each other.They have many inherent advantages in spreading to Myanmar.For many years,Yunnan mainstream media has actively explored the dissemination of Myanmar.In this context,this paper takes ’ Mingala News ’,the first overseas social media news account on the Facebookplatform,as the research object,which is the first overseas social media news account on the Facebookplatform of the Yunnan radio and television network external publicity media platform ’ auspicious network ’.This paper further analyzes the communication content and operation strategy of ’ Mingala News ’ on the Facebookplatform,hoping to provide some better ideas and methods for Chinese mainstream media to use overseas social platforms for international communication.This article takes 915 news content published by the Myanmar foreign propaganda account ’ Mingala News ’ on the Facebookplatform from June 1,2022 to December 31,2022 as the research object.In addition to the introduction and conclusion of the article,there are four parts in total.The first part of this article conducts in-depth research on the background and current status of the ’ Mingala News ’ account,the source of communication content and the theme of communication,as well as the form and framework of communication content.The second part analyzes the communication effect of ’ Mingala News ’ on the Facebookplatform from the macro and micro perspectives and audience feedback.The third part discusses the operation strategy of ’ Mingala News ’ on the Facebookplatform in three aspects.The ’ content is king ’ boutique out of the circle,highlighting the operation strategy of Yunnan characteristics,in the form of communication with lively language strategy and emotional picture strategy-based operation strategy,at the audience level to grasp the common human emotions and grasp the domestic and foreign social media real-time hot spots and grasp the audience focus-based operation strategy.The fourth part analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of ’ Mingala News ’ on Facebookplatform based on the previous introduction.At the same time,it puts forward some suggestions for the international communication of China ’s mainstream media on overseas social platforms,such as paying attention to the integration of domestic resources and personnel training,enhancing the concept of journalistic communication,enriching the content of communication,and innovating the topic selection and reporting angle.
