| In the 1960 s,a large number of Shanghai educated youth went to Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to participate in the construction of land reclamation. The fate of big and small people is often closely related to social change. With the continuous promotion of the national policy of supporting the border areas, the observation of the Shanghai Youth Support Border Chronicle has attracted widespread attention. This graduation project includes two parts: a creative exposition and a series of historical reports, which are embedded in the appendix. The creative exposition mainly adopts creative methods such as retrieval reading, oral history interviews, and abstract ladder writing, and presents it through the creative process of topic selection, planning preparation, interview practice, and text writing.Afterwards,it deeply reflects on the interview techniques and writing strategies of historical theme series reports,in order to provide possible directions for future creative thinking. The series of historical reports mainly revolves around the history of Shanghai’s educated youth in the construction of the Shihezi branch in Xinjiang, with a timeline structure of "starting, breaking, settling, returning, and inheriting".It focuses on the fragments of Shanghai’s educated youth who went to the Shihezi branch in Xinjiang to cultivate.A systematic review of the Shanghai educated youth branch chronicles is conducive to exploring the fate and branch values of individual educated youth under the policy background, thus presenting the multiple relationships between people, people and society, and people and the times. At the same time, the series of reports draws on the unique cultural attributes of rivers to metaphorically depict the deep connection between Shanghai educated youth and Eastern and Western civilizations under the joint influence of the "Huangpu River" and the "Ancient Manas River". |
