| With the development of media ecology and the change of audience aesthetics,the production concept and presentation form of interview programs have continued to evolve,with the traditional studio-style one-on-one Q&A evolving into immersive outdoor deep discussions.The addition of documentary techniques has allowed interview programs to break the boundaries of time and space,increase the authenticity of dialogue,and enhance the portrayal of characters’ personalities and psychological changes.Documentary-style interview programs with the main characteristics of "documentary presentation" and "immersive interview" have become a program type worthy of attention and research.This paper adopts a research method that combines literature review and case analysis.Taking typical documentary-style interview programs such as "Standpoint" "Thirteen Talks" "Life of Adventures" and the graduation work "Xia Bu Sheng Hua" as research samples,the host is identified as the research object to explore the role conflicts faced by hosts during the hosting process due to differences in social structure,group expectations,and individual abilities.The article is divided into five parts.In the introduction section,introduces the research background,current situation,methods,innovation points,and briefly describes the graduation work,explaining why the role conflicts of documentary-style interview program hosts were chosen as the research topic.The frist part defines the concepts of documentary-style interview programs,host roles,and host role conflicts.The second part summarizes the three main types of host role conflicts in documentary-style interview programs based on case analysis.The third part analyzes the reasons for host role conflicts in documentary-style interview programs from the perspectives of social environment,audience expectations,and host characteristics.Finally,using the graduation work "Summer Flowers" as an example,the fifth part proposes three role adaptation methods: balancing conflicting factors and clarifying role positioning,arranging expectations from various parties to achieve role identification,and improving ability and charisma to enhance the role’s attractiveness. |
