In recent years, emergencies have occurred frequently around the world, such as forest fires lasting several months, sudden floods, and severe epidemics that have raged until now,all of which have caused great harm to the economy and society. Therefore, when an emergency occurs, the public needs to get enough corresponding emergency information to meet their various needs at the first time.If such needs are not met or the public lacks the skills and literacy to obtain relevant emergency information, the public will have negative emotions such as tension and anxiety, and then evolve into irrational emotions and behaviors. In view of this,it has certain theoretical and practical significance to study the influencing factors of social media users’ emergency information anxiety under emergencies. This paper conducts empirical research on a large number of theoretical foundations, and enriches and expands the theoretical model framework of social media users’ emergency information anxiety on the basis of empirical research. The main research work is to compile a questionnaire on the influencing factors of user emergency information anxiety through literature research and questionnaire survey, and analyze the questionnaire after obtaining the questionnaire data. Then, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire data are analyzed, and the software is used to perform regression analysis on the selected variables to determine the final influencing factors. Finally, the structural equation is used to build the model and the research conclusion is tested quantitatively by Amos24.0 software. The study found that when an emergency occurs, the frequency of social media users searching for emergency information is mainly concentrated 2-5 times a day,and the time spent on emergency information searching is about 10-30 minutes each time. This also shows that when encountering emergencies, social media users are highly sensitive and in demand for emergency information. In addition, through the study of influencing factors,it is found that the emergency information anxiety of social media users under emergencies is mainly affected by four factors: personal factors, information quality factors, information platform factors and government factors. After model verification,it is concluded that differences in gender, age, and educational background of users will have an important impact on emergency information anxiety.Emergency information literacy has a significant impact on emergency information anxiety.Emotion perception has a significant effect on emergency information anxiety.Cognitive level has a significant effect on emergency information anxiety. The false degree, complexity, incompleteness and lag degree of emergency information have a significant positive impact on emergency information anxiety.Information overload, information conflict, information acquisition, and information security have a significant positive impact on emergency information anxiety.Emergency policy, emergency release, and emergency supervision have a significant positive impact on emergency information anxiety. Finally, the study believes that relevant measures and countermeasures should be taken from four aspects: individual, society, information platform and government to avoid or alleviate the emergency information anxiety of social media users under emergencies.
