With the rapid development of Internet technology and mobile devices,the number of Chinese Internet users and user scale expands,social media arises at the historic moment.Social media has become a new media for people to share information and interact with each other.Especially in the special period of social process,social media played an important role in the emergency,it is a key channel for users to search emergency information and make corresponding emergency decisions to reduce the harm of emergencies.Only by accurately understanding the information behavior characteristics and influencing factors of social media users in the context of emergencies,can we control the emergency through emergency information management,improve the user experience and minimize the hazards caused by emergencies.To study information behavior from the perspective of context is helpful to comprehensively consider the internal and external complex factors affecting information behavior.Taking emergencies as a special context will enable us to more comprehensively and thoroughly analyze the dynamic changes and influencing factors of information behaviors in this special period.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the emergency information behavior of social media users in emergency situations.Firstly,this paper described the purpose and significance of the research,sorted out the relevant literature,analyzed and summarized the domestic and foreign research status of emergency context and information seeking,as will as determined the research methods and content and put forward research innovation points.Secondly,by defining the relevant concepts,discussing the relevant theories,and clarifying the characteristics of emergency context,social media and users.And combined with the actual situation of the case,three types of influencing factors of social media users' information seeking in emergency context were extracted: information context,service context and user context.This paper constructed an information seeking model of social media users in emergency context.The model includes seven variables,including information quality,system characteristics,user characteristics,perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,behavioral intention and seeking,and put forward research hypotheses.Thirdly,according to the research model and hypothesis,the empirical research and analysis were carried out.The questionnaire was designed and distributed online to various social media platforms to collect research data.SPSS21.0 and AMOS23.0 software were used to conduct descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis,structural equation model analysis and test the research model and hypothesis.According to the results of data analysis,information quality has significant positive influence on perceived usefulness.System characteristics have significant positive influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.Perceived usefulness has significant positive influence on behavior intention,perceived ease of use has significant positive influence on perceived usefulness and behavioral intention.User characteristics have significant positive influence on perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use and behavioral intention.Finally,based on the research conclusion,this paper proposed suggestions for social media platforms to provide user-oriented emergency information services from three perspectives.In terms of supervision,social media platforms should improve the industry mechanism,enhance the supervision ability and users' supervision awareness.In terms of contextual factors,social media platforms should pay attention to information content and quality,optimize the use experience with services,and cultivate deep users.In terms of building community relations,social media platforms should pay attention to the construction of social interaction functions.
