With the process of industrial modernization, the manufacturing industry is in urgent need of human-to-human,human-to-object,and object-to-object communication and automatic control to improve production efficiency and management effectiveness. However, the heterogeneous nature of industrial Internet and the differences in communication protocols between devices and systems make the interconnection and mutual control between multiple protocols a challenge;at the same time, industrial machine applications are diverse and different services have different demands on the network. In the case of inadequate network resources, the Internet over heterogeneous industrial networks to achieve deterministic transmission becomes the focus. In view of the coexistence of multiple heterogeneous protocols in industrial scenarios(e.g.Modbus,CAN,Profibus,etc.),we propose a deterministic industrial Internet multi-protocol interconnection network architecture(SD-Clos)based on Software-Defined Networking(SDN)and Time-Sensitive Networking(TSN)in combination with Vx LAN virtual network technology to solve the interconnection and interoperability problems of heterogeneous protocols.Through SDN technology,we realize centralized management and control of local network resources and functions, logical isolation according to actual service traffic, and meet the communication requirements of flexible scaling, seamless reconfiguration and real-time Quality of Service(Qo S)of the Industrial Internet;through the delay determinism and time slot priority scheduling capability provided by TSN technology,we provide deterministic solutions for multi-protocol interconnection of the Industrial Internet.Under the SD-Clos architecture,an IPv6 Over TSN method is proposed for the interoperability of industrial heterogeneous systems, which breaks through the adaptation limitation of IPv6 protocols to the Industrial Internet, realizes the multi-service data transmission of the Industrial Internet, and enhances the intelligent networking capability of the Industrial Network;based on the TSN traffic scheduling mechanism,an IPv6 traffic shaping mechanism is proposed for the Industrial Internet scenario.Based on the TSN traffic scheduling mechanism,we propose an IPv6 traffic shaping mechanism for industrial Internet scenarios, which enables industrial Internet forwarding nodes to use the deterministic transmission characteristics of TSN traffic scheduling through IPv6 protocols and improves the deterministic transmission capability of real-time services. To address the large-scale nature of the industrial scenario services and the problem that manually configured TSNs cannot automatically adapt to frequently changing network flows,a publish-subscribe paradigm for network messaging is proposed based on IPv6’s bearer capacity and Service Level Agreement(SLA)service capability for industrial protocols, which converts Qo S to TSN network parameters and distributes them to achieve dynamic sensing and configuration of traffic services;meanwhile,a formal configuration model and traffic scheduling constraints for TSN networks are established The formal configuration model and traffic scheduling constraints of the TSN network are transformed into a Satisfiability Problem(SAT)to solve the configuration information in real time to meet the deterministic requirements of differential and dynamic data traffic. Finally,a single-pair Ethernet-based industrial Internet system is built for testing and verification in a real network environment, and the network performance optimization effect is verified and analyzed for three typical industrial Internet scenarios: video monitoring, periodic cyclic events and multi-service hybrid bearer. The experimental results show that the deterministic transmission method in this paper can well guarantee the delay, jitter and packet loss rate in the worst case of critical traffic, which has significantly improved the deterministic performance of the network, and has better stability in the multi-service hybrid transmission, and can flexibly adapt to different service requirements.
