| The several-decade practice has been proved that IPv4 is a successful protocol both in its technology and development, and has made great contribution. However, IPv4 now faces difficulty with the production demand and the modern technology. Therefore, IPv6 has emerged as one of the core standards of the next generation internet protocols. There is a problem during the long substitution, and that is the system interconnection between two nets territories, which concerns with the smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6, as well as the long-term sustainable development of Internet. Thus, it is important to make research on the relative technology and software exploration.This paper analyses IPv6 protocol's background significance and the urgency, and makes deep research on IPv6 and the basic principles of network interconnection technology between IPv4 and IPv6, and proposed two kind of networks environment interconnection strategies: IPv6 between the cross IPv4 network correspondence, and the IPv6 network and the IPv4 network between winds the correspondence. Under these two correspondences environment premises, many kinds of communication have been analyzed and discussed. NAT-PT mechanism in the protocol translation transition technology is proposed, because it does not need to change the present equipment situation of the IPv4 network and realize interconnection exchanges between the present IPv4 network and the new built IPv6 network. This article focuses on the realistic demand during the transition period, studies the interconnection technology between the IPv4 network and the IPv6 network, designs and realizes the translation gateway NAT-PT.This article also explores the solutions under the different network environment of IPv4/IPv6 network, and realizes it in the IPv6 network correspondence under the laboratory existing environment, and analyzes its results. Finally, it summarizes the work and the innovation point, and forecast the IPv4/IPv6 network interconnection technology. |
