Networked control system (NCS) is widely used in complex industrial control, such as industrial control, telemedicine, smart grid, building automation, intelligent vehicle systems, aviation and aerospace, etc. Industrial networked control system has multiple network protocols exist, the problem of different network protocols can not communicate. Currently, multi-protocol network on industrial network control system for network interconnection and real-time communication, reliability studying are the important research directions. The research has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the development of industrial networked control systems.In this dissertation, the multi-protocol networking communications technology is studied in industrial networked control system. Factors affecting industrial network communication performance are analyzed, proposing measures to improve industrial network traffic in real-time and reliability, these measures can improve the performance of the communication networked control system. In this paper, the main works are as follows:Industrial control system communication network performance being studied. This paper is mainly analyzed the PROFIBUS, MODBUS and industrial ethernet technology. The industrial control system network structure and network tasks and working environment are analyzed. According to real-time and reliability requirements of industrial control systems, the impact of industrial real-time network control system and reliability factors are analyzed. The methods and measures to improve real-time and reliability based on these factors are proposed.Industrial network interconnections are analyzed. According to the open system interconnection (OSI) reference model, the reference model of PROFIBUS, MODBUS and industrial ethernet are analyzed and discussed. According to the reference model of industrial networks, the principles of multi-protocol network interconnection are analyzed, then the feasibility of multi-protocol converter from hardware conversion technology and software conversion technology are analyzed. The type of multi-protocol converter are discussed.Heterogeneous networks communication experiments are completed. PROFIBUS network design and communication experiment are completed, then PROFIBUS and MODBUS networking hybrid bus designs are completed. The MODBUS bus and PROFIBUS bus hybrid network communication settings and network communication experiment are completed. Master and slave communication programs are designed, monitoring interface designs with WinCC software are completed. The problem about MODBUS protocol bus network equipment can not communicate with PROFIBUS are solved.Industrial control networked system applications networking are designed. According to the requirements of network control issues sewage treatment plant control system, slag temperature control systems and low-voltage substation monitoring system, with their multi-network communication protocols exist, the analysis of network design and network communication performance are completed.
