| The rapid development of China’s economy has improved people’s living standards,but it has also brought greater competition pressure.Group cultural anxiety at different age stages needs to be resolved through knowledge acquisition and self-improvement.According to the Pygmalion effect,parents usually have higher positive expectations for their children.When these expectations are not met,parental group cultural anxiety as adults can be transferred to their children.This has led to the emergence of knowledge-based support products for children.In recent years,with the increasing recognition of knowledge payment by the masses,the children’s knowledge service industry,which has a large audience,has seen an opportunity for high-quality development.Fully leveraging its own advantages to establish a profitable model that conforms to market rules is beneficial for children’s knowledge service products to maintain and continuously expand their market share,maintain stable profit growth,and achieve long-term and stable development of the enterprise.Based on a multiple case study,this research classifies China’s children’s knowledge service products into three categories based on their main business:content-based products mainly in the form of audio books,educational products that cater to various needs of children’s growth,and auxiliary teaching service products closely related to K12 education.The research found that although the main business of the products is not exactly the same,children’s knowledge service products are all developed around the form of "content + service." Therefore,the problems encountered and solutions adopted in establishing and improving the profit model of different types of products can become the common experience of the industry.This study takes the profit model of children’s knowledge service products as the research object and uses the "five elements of profit model" in management as the perspective.Through methods such as questionnaire surveys,case analysis,and in-depth interviews,the study conducted a comprehensive analysis of the profit model of children’s knowledge service products from five dimensions: profit points,profit sources,profit levers,profit barriers,and profit organizations,based on case analysis of different types of children’s knowledge service products.The research found that the profit model of children’s knowledge service products faces problems such as insufficient support for profit points,limited development of profit sources,biased support points of profit levers,relatively fragile profit barriers,and imperfect profit organizations.Corresponding solutions were proposed to address these development challenges,consolidating profit points and expanding profit sources around "content" and "service," correcting profit levers,strengthening profit barriers,and improving profit organizations.The aim is to provide inspiration and reference for the optimization of the profit model of China’s children’s knowledge service products.The innovation of this study lies in its perspective on the five elements of the profit model,its introduction of management and psychology theories and research methods,and its integration of multiple case analyses to comprehensively sort out the profit model of the children’s knowledge service industry.This is helpful for the industry to more accurately assess the profitability of its own products and make targeted improvements based on specific circumstances. |
