The first film and TV series in China were adapted from literary works,and for nearly a hundred years,traditional literature has always been an inexhaustible source of the Chinese film and television industry.However,since the 21 st century,traditional literature has been declining under the strong suppression of network literature,and has been forced to gradually cede its main position in film and television adaptation.Network literature has replaced traditional literature as the most important script source for film and television adaptation,and the publishing industry has also shifted from competing to publish film tie-in books on traditional literature to publishing film tie-in books on network literature.In 2016,the network literature intellectual property market in China entered a new stage,from the consolidation period to the rapid development period;new hot spots appeared in the film and television adaptation of network literary works,the number of adapted online series soared;new connections emerged between the publishing industry and the film and television industry,with state-owned publishing and media groups,private and joint-venture book companies getting involved in the film and television business.Therefore,according to the important time node of 2016,this paper analyzes the phenomenon of the publishing boom of film tie-in books on network literature in China from 2016 to 2021.Based on the theory of editing and publishing,combined with a large number of data,book publishing cases and field research,this paper sorts out the development process of film tie-in books in China,and organizes the publication of 96 representative film tie-in books on network literature from 2016 to 2021.In addition,this paper analyzes the publishing subject of film tie-in books on network literature and the publishing process including content production,overall design and distribution marketing,and further analyzes the positive and negative impacts of the "Network Literature-Films and Television Programs-Books" industry chain on the publishing industry.In the end,aiming at the common problems in the publishing process of film tie-in books on network literature,such as lack of social benefits,stereotyped publishing operation,short market life cycle weak copyright awareness,etc.,this paper calls on the publishing industry to enhance the awareness of the main body of publishing and improve the quality of book publishing;deeply integrate into the "Network Literature-Films and Television Programs-Books" industry chain and extend the value chain;broaden the marketing ideas and carry out interactive integrated marketing;establish copyright protection awareness and strictly perform the duty of reasonable care.Trying to provide reference for the sound development of film tie-in books on network literature. |
