" Totto-chan:The Little Girl at the Window" (original title:窓(?) writed by a famous Japanese writer Tetsuko Kuroyanagi.In 2003, it introduced into China by Nanhai Publishing Company and achieved good sales performance.At the same time,it entered the Children's bestseller list and won wide acclaim from readers.The reasons for its successful publishing Can not be separated by the successful planning of the publisher.It can be said that " Totto-chan:The Little Girl at the Window " was a successful example of the publishing planning of children's literature books.This paper takes" Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window " as an example and starting point.It takes multi-disciplinary such as publishing,communications,literature and economics as studying perspective and it does depth discussion to the publishing planning of children's literature books.This paper puts forward the shortcomings of children's literature books marketing systematically.It analysis the reason of the shortcomings.It explains the inner regularity of the creative thinking activities of the course of a series of publishing suching as children's literature books'publication planning including topic selection,editorial planning,production planning,publicity planning and marketing planning specifically.lt clearly expounds the topic selection of children's literature books shoud be taking innovation as philosophy,taking readers as foundation and editorial planning shoud be taking the contents of the book as base,taking the market potential as outline. In addition, this article also discusses the important role of the planing of cover appearance, the cover text in the production planning of children's literature book's and the important role of the media in publicity planning and the necessity of identifing the object readers, going into the school, seizing the holidays and multi-channel marketing in the marketing planning of children's literature books.
