The vast amount of literature is the precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation.Taking the unique literature and book publishing practice of Guangxi Normal University Press as an example,this paper makes a systematic study on the strategic planning,topic selection,editing,proofreading,binding and distribution marketing of literature and book publishing,summarizes the successful experience and existing problems,and puts forward countermeasures,It can provide some reference and guidance for the publication of literature books in China.When publishing literature and books,we should make scientific and reasonable strategic planning.Specifically,we need to have a long-term goal of literature and books publishing,and then adjust the strategic planning of literature and books publishing according to the changes of the actual situation.When selecting the title of literature books,we should comprehensively evaluate the value of literature,including literature value,academic value,cultural popularization value and artistic value,and fully consider the feasibility of the project,that is,whether the base copy can be obtained and whether the difficulty of publishing is too high.When planning literature books,we should make clear the orientation of readers and adopt different planning methods in the face of different types of readers;It is necessary to select the original authors with high academic level or artistic attainments,and invite scholars with high academic literacy and rich literature collation experience to preside over the collation work;It is necessary to analyze,evaluate and compare the version information of different literature,select high-quality and appropriate version,and deeply tap the value of literature.When editing and proofreading documents and books,we should analyze the specific problems and improve the quality of editing and proofreading.When editing and proofreading photocopied documents,we should select high-quality rare books as the base books,pay attention to the comprehensive verification,collation and collection of the documents,and focus on adding content index,academic preface and other auxiliary words;When editing and proofreading typesetting literature,we should pay attention to the summary of previous research results.Among them,the reference books of edition bibliography should restore the original appearance of the literature as much as possible,and add auxiliary information and words such as edition,preface and postscript,example,famous person postscript,appendix,index,etc.When designing the binding and layout of literature books,we should first embody the editing thought and publish the literature books with design characteristics;Secondly,we should pay attention to the overall design and realize the coordination and unity of content and form;Thirdly,we should pay attention to details and quality;Finally,we should pay attention to copyright issues and cost control.The main distribution channel of literature books is library distribution.Publishers should actively pay attention to and participate in all kinds of book exhibitions,ordering and library distribution activities sponsored by the government,libraries,bookstores and book dealers,and strengthen communication and learning with the outside world;Publishers should also make full use of the network and big data technology,strengthen the data sharing with libraries and scientific research institutions,and realize the targeted sales of literature books while helping them improve the collection structure.In the marketing work of literature books,we should respect the objective law of literature book sales,pay attention to the extensive publication and key push of book information,and pay attention to the shaping and maintenance of publishing brand.At present,literature and book publishing is facing the problems of demand reduction,increasingly fierce competition and higher difficulty of secondary development.Publishing houses should strengthen their confidence in the publication of literature and books,adhere to the spirit of pioneering innovation and tenacious struggle,and actively rely on various forces to achieve a higher level of publication of literature and books.
