Optimized Design Of Amazon European Regional Logistics Information Management System

With the growth of Amazon cross-border logistics,the increase of Chinese sellers’ share in Amazon Europe market,coupled with the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic,Amazon Europe station has a large number of orders and goods in and out every day,which requires tracking management and information collection of all stages of cargo turnover and comprehensive management of the entire process of orders.Because the current logistics information management system of Amazon Europe region has not completed standardization and automation,the transparency of logistics information is not high and the collection degree is not complete,resulting in occasional loss of logistics tracking records and increased chances of incorrect compensation occurring.Therefore,Amazon needs to standardize and automate the entire logistics information management system in the European region to upgrade it comprehensively.This thesis focuses on the optimization design of logistics information management in Amazon Europe from a management perspective,so it focuses more on the information management part of the system itself and the system for the company’s operation perspective,and weakly designs the logistics information management system in detail from a technical perspective.At the same time,based on the study of the background and current situation of the logistics information management system in Amazon Europe,the functional analysis of the Amazon logistics information management system is carried out,and the requirement analysis of the warehouse information management module,distribution center information management module,and service center information management module is completed through sample diagrams and sample descriptions.After that,the overall architecture design and functional structure design of the system are completed,and the overall system design is completed through Amazon cloud technology and database entity relationship design.Finally,the process of system implementation is introduced.After completing the system-related work,the safeguards of each system are proposed to ensure that the system can be used online subsequently.The implementation of the system can increase the completeness of logistics information collection,while improving the transparency of logistics information and using information management tools for real-time,accurate tracking and full process management of logistics information.The logistics information management system realizes three-party information sharing among suppliers,Amazon and customers,and positive and coordination among warehouses,distribution and service centers,which improves the overall efficiency of Amazon Europe,simplifies the logistics information management business process and reduces the operation error rate.At the same time,due to the improved integrity of data collection,this logistics information can be analyzed to provide decision makers with statistical analysis results and timely adjustment of company strategies.
