At present,digital economy is developing in full swing in China.In the process of developing digital economy,big data is indispensable.Data resources have become an important factor for enterprises to promote economic growth and social development.Only when big data rises to the level of capability can its influence on enterprise development become more and more obvious.Therefore,how to correctly understand and comprehensively improve the ability of big data has become an important problem that entrepreneurs and operators urgently need to solve,and has also become the focus of scholars at home and abroad.However,there is still no unified concept about enterprise big data capability in the academic circle,and there are few studies on the pre-influencing factors of enterprise big data capability at home and abroad.Therefore,this paper takes big data capability as the starting point to study its connotation and influencing factors.Based on resource-based theory and dynamic capability theory,this study scientifically defined the connotation of big data capability by combing and studying previous literatures in detail,and divided big data capability into two dimensions,namely,initial static capability and high dynamic capability.At the same time,using the technology-organizationenvironment(TOE)research framework,based on the literature review and theoretical support,the potential influencing factors of big data capability are selected from three dimensions of technology,organization and environment,and corresponding research hypotheses are proposed,and the research model of big data capability and its influencing factors is determined.This paper adopts the research method of questionnaire survey to collect research data,and the collection method mostly relies on researchers’ own field visits.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were analyzed by using SPSS 26.0 and Smart PLS 3.0 statistical analysis tools,and the test results showed that the validity and reliability of the scale were good.The 12 hypotheses proposed in this paper are tested and analyzed by structural equation model,and the research results are obtained.The results show that information technology expertise and experience,innovation culture,financial support,and government support have significant positive effects on the first-order static and higher-order dynamic capabilities of big data.Information technology facilities,supplier pressure and customer pressure have a positive impact on the first-order static capability of big data.Risk awareness and competitive pressure have a positive impact on the high-order dynamic capabilities of big data.In the mediation model,the enterprise’s first-order static big data capability has a significant positive impact on the higher-order dynamic big data capability,and plays a mediating role between the influencing factors and the higher-order dynamic big data capability.Among them,the first-order static capability of big data plays a partial mediating role in the impact of innovation culture,risk awareness,government support and customer pressure on higher-order dynamic capability.It plays a complete mediating role in the influence of information technology facilities,financial support and supplier pressure on higher-order dynamic capabilities.On the basis of empirical analysis,this study finally puts forward suggestions on the cultivation of enterprises’ big data capabilities. |
