With the rapid development and boost of the cultural education industry,academic knowledge is no longer as inaccessible as in the past.The volume and scale of academic knowledge on the Internet are expanding,and it has become one of the important sources for academic research user groups to obtain academic knowledge.As important contributors and main recipients of academic knowledge,the current academic research community is facing objective hard indicators such as research results and the number of papers published,as well as inevitable research competition pressure.Their thirst for academic knowledge is increasing,and the Internet provides rich academic knowledge and convenient access to knowledge for academic research user groups,It also increases the difficulty for users to obtain and filter academic knowledge content to a certain extent.Under the comprehensive influence of various factors,it may cause anxiety among academic research groups about academic knowledge.This negative psychological and emotional change will inevitably hinder the normal and smooth progress of academic research among such user groups.At present,research on anxiety and information anxiety has reached maturity,but there is still relatively little research on academic knowledge anxiety in academic research contexts.Therefore,this paper will start from the concept definition of academic knowledge anxiety,use information anxiety as the theoretical basis,and use master’s and doctoral students and some university teachers as the research objects to develop a measurement scale for user academic knowledge anxiety in academic research contexts.The main work of this study is as follows:First,based on the review and collation of relevant literature and theories,the qualitative research method of Grounded theory was used to explore the structural dimensions of academic knowledge anxiety of academic research users through the process of data collection,collation,coding,etc.,then the initial items of the academic knowledge anxiety scale were prepared,and then through the data analysis process of item purification,pre-test,formal scale test,etc,Finally,an academic knowledge anxiety scale consisting of 4 dimensions and 15 items was obtained.Secondly,to test the validity and practical application of the scale,an applied study was conducted on the developed academic knowledge anxiety scale.The paper combines SOR theory and psychological account theory to explore the correlation between academic knowledge anxiety and user willingness to pay for knowledge.Finally,the paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions to alleviate academic knowledge anxiety from three levels: individuals,knowledge information environment,and platforms,and proposes feasible management practices for knowledge payment platforms.The research results indicate that the structural dimensions that affect the knowledge anxiety of academic research groups can be divided into two types: internal and external,namely academic knowledge characteristics,academic competence and literacy,personal cognition,academic environment and system.There is a positive correlation between academic knowledge anxiety and knowledge payment willingness,and academic knowledge anxiety significantly positively affects users’ knowledge payment willingness.Exploring the behavior of academic knowledge anxiety can help to understand the internal causes of academic knowledge anxiety in research groups,and provide a relatively complete evaluation tool for the self-test of academic knowledge anxiety in research groups.In theory,this study enriches the research on knowledge anxiety in academic research contexts,explores and forms the structural dimensions of academic knowledge anxiety,and promotes empirical research on user willingness to pay for knowledge.In practice,this study can provide targeted countermeasures and suggestions for alleviating knowledge anxiety for academic research groups,and propose targeted solutions for knowledge payment platforms.
