In the current era,the popularization and development of Internet technology has promoted the massive dissemination and exchange of information, making online health one of the main ways for people to obtain health information and services. However, the authenticity, reliability, and credibility of online health information have always been the focus of attention. This is not unrelated to the low threshold and low cost characteristics of Internet information, but also makes false information, fraud, and other information common in network dissemination.Meta analysis is a research method that comprehensively analyzes multiple similar or related research results, also known as research review or meta-analysis.In the study of online health perception credibility, due to the high diversity and heterogeneity of survey data, meta analysis methods can reasonably integrate and statistically analyze survey data, thereby systematically deriving statistical conclusions and future reference opinions and suggestions based on multiple studies. This study uses a meta-analysis method to systematically comb a large number of literature, integrate the relevant empirical research effect values and research conclusions of factors affecting the perceived credibility of user health information, and quantitatively test the relevance of factors affecting the perceived credibility of health information, whether there are regulatory variables, and how regulatory variables regulate them,And provide scientific and reliable explanations for the contradictory research results in current empirical research.During the research process, the following issues were attempted to be addressed:① identifying factors that affect the perceived credibility of health information in published relevant literature.② Find out the impact direction of factors influencing the perceived credibility of health information on the perceived credibility of information③Analyze whether some characteristics of the subjects have a moderating effect on the perceived credibility of health information. The conclusion shows that the publisher’s authority, publisher’s influence, source relevance, source proximity, timeliness, content integrity, viewpoint consistency, information quality, media influence and media authority of information dissemination all positively affect the perceived credibility. The current meta-analysis shows that when people access user-generated health information, the source credibility may or may not affect the user’s evaluation of information credibility, depending on the information publishing platform. The results also show that the type of health information publishing platform, the cultural background of the region, whether the research funds are funded or not,and the level of researchers can adjust the influence of influencing factors on perceived credibility.Measurement factors can also adjust the influence of influencing factors on perceived credibility, and the perceived credibility measured by questionnaire is more affected than that measured by other methods.Users in different age groups also play a moderating role in the influence of influencing factors on perceived credibility.
