A Study Of The Discursive Construction Of Environmental Images In Television Environmental News

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China promoted the construction of ecological civilization as a “millennium plan”.my country has continuously promoted and promoted the monitoring of environmental disasters,environmental protection,environmental policy formulation and sustainable environmental development.CCTV’s “News 30 Minutes” noon news program has always paid close attention to environmental issues,committed to constructing environmental discourse,and emphasized the important position of the environment in human development.Compared with “News Network”,“News 30 Minutes” is good at reporting social news.It has a close-to-life reporting style and a civilian reporting perspective.The content of environmental reports is rich,and the analysis of environmental reporting issues is also more in-depth.Based on this,this study takes the environmental news reports in the TV media as the research object,takes the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as an important node,and selects the environmental news reports in CCTV’ s “News 30 Minutes”program from 2017 to 2021 as the data source.Analysis method and discourse analysis method,starting from the perspective of the environmental discourse construction of CCTV’s “News 30 Minutes” noon news program,combined with related theories of journalism and communication,intends to solve the following key problems: the five-year period from 2017 to 2021 before and after the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China What is the overview of domestic and foreign environmental news reports in “News 30 Minutes”?What environmental images are presented in the domestic environmental news reports in“News 30 Minutes” in terms of text framework and audio-visual language arrangement?What kind of constructive role do different modal discourses play in the presentation of environmental images? What construction strategies are included in the construction of environmental image? In order to solve the above problems,research is carried out from the following ideas.Firstly,it analyzes the overall framework of domestic and foreign environmental news reports in CCTV’ s “News 30 Minutes” program and shows the general situation of TV environmental news reports to a certain extent.Secondly,multi-modal discourse analysis is carried out from the aspects of text frame and visual grammar,and through micro-discourse analysis,it attempts to summarize the characteristics of vocabulary usage,text content and audio-visual language in domestic mainstream TV environmental news reports and tries to reveal the multi-dimensional environment of TV environmental news discourse construction.Image and Construction Strategies.The study found that the environmental reports in CCTV’ s “News 30 Minutes”program are mainly primary and secondary environmental news,and the overall number is steadily increasing.Continuous reports are often used to track the beginning and end of environmental events.Under the interaction of text mode and image mode,the TV environmental news in “News 30 Minutes” constructs the environmental image of the country’ s honest and trustworthy “responsible person”,a practical “leader”,a resolute and resolute hero,The environmental image of the “healer” who serves the people wholeheartedly,the “green ribbon” that maintains the balance between nature and society,and the “whistleblower” who dares to raise professional questions.The selection and arrangement of elements such as simultaneous sound and text play a key role in the presentation of specific environmental images in the construction of multimodal discourse.When the multi-modal environmental news discourse constructs the environmental image,the leading role of the text mode stimulates widespread social resonance;the image mode assists in improving the audience’ s understanding.The role of multi-modal discourse in building a multi-dimensional environmental image relies on the long-standing and powerful influence of traditional mainstream media and is based on the Chinese ecological culture that has lasted for more than 5000 years.my country’ s comprehensive and real multidimensional environmental image provides a reference for the country to improve environmental communication and ecological civilization construction communication.
