Research On Interaction Between Fans Circle Group And Platform Algorithms In Digital Context

Currently,many lively and interesting media practices have emerged in the fan circle group,For example,the incidents such as Xiao Zhan’s single sales exceeded 100 million yuan,and the battle for the top spot in Kunlun Weibo Supertopic are frequently known outside of fixed circle,which have frequently emerged in the circle and caused widespread heated discussion.However,the academic community mostly focuses on the data generation and consumption behavior of fans behind these phenomena,and lacks due attention to the interaction process between fans and algorithms.Most of them use a critical approach to characterize the simple existence of fan circles as being exploited and passive,ignoring the complex and vivid intrinsic mechanisms of fans and their culture.Further,the discussion of the relationship between users and algorithms also presents a distinct pessimistic mood,with concerns about the fundamental loss of human subjectivity therein,reflecting the plight of a single orientation within the dual opposition framework of "activism structure".Therefore,this article explores the nuances and depths of fan culture in the context of digital technology,using availability as an analytical framework to examine the interaction process between fan circles and platform algorithms,following the path of "phenomenon observation abstract induction cognitive reflection",and using rich qualitative materials generated through reading,field observation,and interview methods to carefully outline the shaping of structural algorithms on the practical actions of fan circles,And the exertion of the subject’s initiative in the fan circle reveals the dual orientation of the fan circle group as an actor,further examining the impact of the generation and diffusion of this phenomenon on social reality,thereby restoring a vivid and complex practical action network.Specifically,First,The interaction process between the two is embodied in the following aspects: On the one hand,the platform supports the algorithm embedding interface and dynamically adjusts visibility based on the contradiction between infinite visualization and limited visibility,and emerges and transmits the basic value orientation of "data first" of the platform through the physical interface.On the other hand,in the face of complex algorithms that are invisible but perceptible,and the differentiated situations they create,the Pink Circle has generated a "myth" about the algorithm.In order to interact more effectively with the algorithm to achieve its specific purpose,based on the theory of official technical documents,the Pink Circle has attempted to open the "black box" through "input output" practices,generating a material imagination of the algorithm’s "flow heat" and "weight position".However,informal algorithmic imagination has considerable explanatory flexibility,and there is a significant tension between formal algorithmic rules,with a high degree of asymmetry between the two.Secondly,Based on the above observation of interactive phenomena,this article further abstracts the dual aspects of the main image of fan circles in algorithm practice: on the one hand,the passive aspects trapped in algorithm rules,which are more deeply involved in the commercial chain of the platform due to the fluidity of the field,and on the other hand,they have a distinct dynamic nature,which actively externalizes current practice through the imagination of algorithms,through the use,utilization,and combination of algorithms,To achieve the goal of "gaining widespread attention","promoting positive behavior to suppress negative behavior",and "ritualized performance",it actively enhances the visibility of the subcultural community within the field to seek discourse power,and has a subjective intention to further break through the platform rules.Finally,by gradually broadening my horizons,I cannot help but express my hidden concerns about the resulting single value orientation issues such as data dependency and visibility hegemony.I propose that we need to recognize the "fluid" characteristics of the fan circle group itself,and then we need to effectively guide "flow" through dredging instead of blocking,and multiple efforts.On the other hand,attention should also be paid to the beautiful vision of the return of the emotional community implied by this phenomenon in the era of instrumental rationality.
