The Value Orientation And Significance Of The Reports Of Typical Figures In The New Era

Typical character reporting is a unique concept of the socialist journalism theory with Chinese characteristics.It originated in Yan ’an during the period of the new Democratic revolution,and has grown in the practice of socialist journalism and become an important means for the Party to carry out the news propaganda work.As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,the system of commendation for meritorious deeds by the Party and the state has been established,and there are more and more reports on typical figures who are recipients of meritorious deeds.This paper discusses the value orientation and significance of the reporting of typical figures in the new era from the reports of the Chinese mainstream media on the winners of the July 1 Medal.First of all,the author retrospects the development process of reporting typical figures based on the division of the historical stages of the Communist Party of China.Secondly,the author analyzes the selection system of "July 1st Medal" winners,the overall design of reporting activities,and the basic characteristics of reporting.Finally,the paper summarizes the value orientation contained in the report of typical figures in the new era based on the text,and expounds the significance of highlighting the value orientation of the report of typical figures in the new era.It is found that the value orientation of the typical people report in the new era mainly includes four aspects: first,sticking to the correct political direction;Second,people-centered;The third is to highlight the purity of integrity;Fourth,promote the spirit of hard work and innovation.The research shows that highlighting the value orientation of typical figures in the new era is conducive to encouraging the cadres of the whole Party to "stay true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind",cultivating and carrying forward the socialist core values,and cultivating new people of the era to shoulder the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.
