In recent years,the short video industry has developed rapidly,and various vertical short videos occupy a large amount of leisure time of the audience,while bringing the audience audiovisual senses and emotional satisfaction.Short videos of rural cuisine have high popularity and good momentum of development.Different from the previous performances that relied on exaggerated eating shows and "earthy flavor tastes",today’s short videos of rural cuisine have formed a new narrative method,reshaped the audience’s imagination of the countryside,and contributed to enhancing the audience’s recognition and love for the countryside.This paper takes the classical theory of narrative as the support,and selects the creator of the representative rural food short video "Shuzhong Taozi Jie" as the research object,and specifically discusses the characteristics and value of the "Shuzhong Taozi Jie" rural food short video in narration,what kind of rural culture does the "Shuzhong Taozi Jie" rural food short video spread,and how to spread the rural culture?
