Research On Audiobooks Resources Construction Of The“Double First-Class” University Library

The development of mobile Internet technology and the popularity of a variety of mobile intelligent terminals have cultivated a new way for people to obtain information.Audiobooks are popular among college students because of its characteristics of liberating eyes,strong concomitant and making full use of fragmented time.Audio reading has become a new way of reading for college students.For the purpose of strengthening the construction of university culture,enriching the diversity of collections and providing diversified reading services to meet the needs of users,it is necessary to build audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries.The research on the construction of audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university library is helpful to enrich the theoretical research on the construction of audio books and information resources in university library,as well as to promote the construction of mobile library in “Double First-Class” university library,which has rich practical significance.After introducing the related research on audio books and information resources construction of university library,defining the core concepts,this paper uses the network survey method to sort out the production process of audio books in China,and summarizes the characteristics of the production mode.After that,taking the official website of domestic “Double First-Class” discipline construction university library as the investigation object,mainly through visiting the database resource list on the library home page,this paper investigates the current situation of the audio reading resources construction,and understands the quantity type,navigation introduction and trial resources of the audio reading resources.Through the questionnaire survey,we get the data of College Students’ audio reading behavior and demand for audio reading resources,as well as the suggestions on the content construction of Library audio reading resources.Based on the analysis of the above survey results,it is found that there are some problems in the construction of audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries,such as insufficient attention and limited construction content.Therefore,students who need audio reading resources turn to commercial resources one after another.But at the same time,the construction of audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries is facing the dilemma that the industrial development can not keep up with the needs of users,and the content of resources can not adapt to the level of University user groups,which leads to the difficulty in the selection and collection of audio reading resources construction.Finally,based on the analysis of the production of audio books,the construction of audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries and the current situation of College Students’ preference and demand for audio reading resources,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the construction of audio reading resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries from four aspects of selection,collection,organization and service according to the construction process of information resources.
