With the growth of the single-disk business volume,the business slots of the optical network transmission equipment deployed in the existing network can no longer meet the needs of the information transmission business,so a model is developed based on OTN(Optical Transport Network)technology and cluster technology New optical network transmission equipment has become the common goal of the communications industry.The development of OTN(Cluster Architecture of Optical Transport Network,COTN)equipment based on the cluster architecture solves the problem of insufficient traditional OTN single-disk business volume,and the need to add new network elements to expand the single-disk business volume,so that the equipment can be used without interrupting services and get the purpose of smooth expansion of business slots.This text first gives a brief overview of the origin,development and application of OTN technology and cluster technology,and proposes the concept of OTN cluster technology in view of the existing problems of OTN technology networking.Secondly,the application of OTN cluster technology is the basis for the completion of COTN equipment networking,and the engineering application of COTN equipment is naturally inseparable from the development of its management system.Finally,this article researches and designs the COTN equipment management system’s software architecture,management plane deployment scenarios,and extended sub-frame management subsystems,and analyzes the COTN equipment management system’s alarm/performance management mechanism,fan speed control mechanism,and active/standby The inter-frame protection mechanism is designed,and it is compatible with the management and control of traditional OTN equipment.This text compares and summarizes the COTN equipment management system compared to traditional OTN equipment management from several aspects such as the operating performance of the COTN equipment central management control panel,the single-disk business volume of the sub-frame,the single-disk data collection and processing speed,and the intelligent fan speed adjustment process.Advantages of the system.Experiments show that the COTN equipment management system has the ability to manage multiple sub-frames and multiple single disks.The expansion of the COTN equipment service slot meets the low-cost and dynamic sustainable design requirements of the existing network equipment carrying service expansion,and it has reached the COTN equipment management system.Design standards for intelligent control equipment.The successful design of COTN equipment management system has laid a solid foundation for COTN equipment to gradually replace traditional OTN equipment in existing network applications.
