Spatial perception is one of the important cognitive abilities that are separated from the cognitive structure of a person. It is different from language and logical thinking.People with excellent spatial perception are usually considered to have better creativity and imagination. The perception of position is a kind of perception of space. It is an important component of the development of human perceptual ability. It is also an important perceptual ability that children rely on to solve complex spatial problems, geometric problems and geographic problems in the future. It is a prerequisite for a correct understanding of the objective world. Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out correct training on children’s cognition of spatial orientation. The current general training method is to cultivate children’s cognitive ability of spatial orientation through construction games, such as building block games. However, construction games require too much space cognitive experience for children.building block games are often unable to complete the game due to lack of experience. As a result, children’s cognition of spatial orientation cannot be developed.By analyzing the characteristics of children’s spatial orientation cognition,we designed a children’s spatial cognition training system. The system consists of picture book stories,an evaluation algorithm and a recommendation algorithm. It trains children in an interactive teaching method.Compared with building games,it requires less space experience for children. The interactive form of the system has natural advantages and attractiveness to children, and it can train children in a targeted manner through algorithms.Specifically, the research content of this paper is mainly as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of children’s curiosity and love of picture book stories and animations, this paper designs a software for training children’s spatial orientation cognition. The software stimulates children’s interest in learning through a story, and provides interactive maps related to the story, allowing children to master the spatial orientation while doing hands-on;(2)According to children’s tendency to make mistakes and guesses due to distractions and other reasons, this paper designs an algorithm for evaluating children’s performance. The algorithm can not only evaluate the children’s mastery of the spatial position, but also evaluate whether the children make mistakes, guesses, etc. In addition, this algorithm belongs to the field of knowledge tracking, and compared with other classic knowledge tracking algorithms,it has a certain improvement;(3)Children’s cognition of spatial orientation is gradually improving. In order to train children’s cognitive ability of spatial orientation more efficiently,we design an algorithm to recommend interactive maps to children. The recommendation algorithm can efficiently guide children to choose the most beneficial interactive map for their improvement,so as to achieve the purpose of quickly and stably improving the cognitive ability of spatial orientation;(4)Finally,in order to verify the effectiveness of this system in actual scenarios,we carried out an experiment on kindergarten children. The experimental results show that compared with the random training situation, this system can effectively improve children’s cognitive level of spatial orientation. In particular, this article visualizes the interaction process of a single child sample, and proves that the system has the ability to analyze the state of children during interaction.
