Call For "A-Zhong Brother"

Since June 2019,on the occasion of the law revision in Hong Kong,radical and violent elements,under the pretext of "anti-amendment" and in the name of peaceful parades and rallies,continued to create violent incidents and recklessly challenge the bottom line of the legal system.Many artists supported Hong Kong but suffered violent attacks.Under the scene that Western maliciously smears China and the idols are humiliated,fan girls maintain the idols abstractly to maintain the "A-Zhong brother",and form a highly consistent new identity in the interaction with other fans,support the Hong Kong Police,emphasize that Hong Kong is part of China and strive for more voice for the Chinese media.Based on the theory of spectacle / performance,guided by the methods of in-depth interview and text analysis,this paper mainly discusses the following questions:(1)in August 2019,on the occasion of the law revision in Hong Kong,how did fan girls’ patriotism be constructed and represented when they went on network expedition?(2)In the hearts of fan girls,what is the relationship between patriotism and idols?(3)What are the characteristics,functions and new changes of the patriotic actions of fan girls under the logic of fans group?(4)The problems existing in the patriotic expedition of fan girls,and the advantages and disadvantages of using the logic of fan group to patriotism.Through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with 12 fans,as well as text analysis of the official microblog content of "the station of clearing negative information for A-Zhong brother " and "Di Ba",this paper holds that: firstly,fan girls,through self-defense and collective reinforcement,collage patriotic discourse and sub element culture,perform under emotional rendering,deepen and wake up their Patriotic identity in repeated reproduction.The mature and rational patriotic and sincere heart has become the backbone of fan girls’ growth.By expressing their attitude through the practice of fan group,fan girls have completed the identity transformation based on the national spirit.Secondly,when the logic of fan group is applied to serious political issues,the whole network expedition is full of subculture elements.Fan girls carry out self-examination and supervision to reach the consensus that the motherland is the only "idol";they specially formulate the strategy of "conflict is not as good as soft system";the relevant weibo topic data ranks first,and the topic of "the station of clearing negative information for the motherland" becomes the number one in the weibo new era topic list.Fan girls have a strong sense of theme,through the transition zone of the object,to complete their own exploration.Thirdly,the positive interaction between the culture of fan group and the mainstream culture is conducive to the social recognition of fan girls and the enhancement of their national awareness and political participation.However,the logic of fan group itself has the disadvantages of emotional extreme,and either black or white,which is not suitable for public issues that need multiple viewpoints..
