Design And Implementation Of Multimedia Application Platform Based On XMPP And P2P

With the expansion and integration of IP communication services,the structure of communication system is getting more and more complicated.Different communication services call for different data transmissionmodesand session-building processes;however theconcurrent of the communications servicesrequires communication system to share more resources.How to regulate conversation establishing process,provide a variety of data transmission modes and share the system resources and network resources have becamethe key points forapplication layer’s design in communication system.This paper discusses the potential demand on multimedia applications platform of the IP communication services,and has a deep research on JINGLE protocol,UDT protocol and ICE standard.According to the concept of unified communications,relying on InstLink multimedia communication system,we proposed the design solution of multimedia application platform.The solution combines a variety of technical advantages,regulates the establishment multimedia conversational process,shields the P2P link establishment process,and shares the P2P media channel resources,offers a variety of data transmission modeswith a single P2P media channel.Generally speaking,the solution makes an expansion of the existing communication system easy and fast.
