In order to promote students’ all-round development,cultivate students’ core qualities and improve students’ independent learning,the new curriculum standard has set up 18 "learning t ask groups".Among them,the task group of "Study of Works by Foreign writers" plays an ext remely important role in cultivating students’ open cultural mentality,enhancing their interest in reading and expanding the scope of reading.This paper aims to explore the characteristics of this task group,combine with the investigation of the actual teaching situation of "Study of foreign writers’ Works" learning task group,according to the characteristics of this task group and existing problems in the current teaching,from the whole teaching process of teachers to put forward several implementation strategies of this task group,and take the optional compul sory textbooks as an example to carry out the teaching design.To provide reference for first-li ne teaching.The thesis is divided into five parts.Firstly,the introduction discusses the necessity and v alue of the study task group of "study of foreign writers’ Works" from the perspective of theor y and practice.And the literature review of "Study task group","Study Task Group of Foreign writers’ Works" and "optional compulsory course".The second part defines the concept and characteristics of "foreign writers’ work study an d learning task group" and "optional compulsory courses" respectively.Among them,the focu s is on the "foreign writers’ works study and learning task group" from the definition of the co ncept,the interpretation of the curriculum standard,the significance of three aspects.The third part investigates the situation of "teaching" and "learning" of the task group of "study of foreign writers’ works" respectively by means of questionnaire,and finds that there are some problems in the current teaching,such as less practice of task group,neglect of stude nts’ subjectivity in teaching,and low interest of students in reading and learning.In the fourth part,according to the characteristics of the "Study of Foreign writers’ Works" learning task group and the problems existing in the actual teaching,from the whole teachin g process of teachers(including teaching objectives,teaching methods,specific teaching proc ess,teaching evaluation),the author puts forward several implementation strategies: first,the t eaching objectives should closely follow the new curriculum standard and the specific require ments of the learning task group;Second,teaching methods should be rich and varied;3.Pay attention to students’ active study in the teaching process;Four,teaching evaluation rebate tea ching objectives,to achieve the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation.Through thes e strategies,it is expected to improve students’ interest in reading and learning foreign literary works,promote students’ independent learning and complete the "study" requirements of this t ask group.In the fifth part,according to the strategy proposed above,several foreign literary works selected from the optional compulsory textbooks are selected for teaching design.Including "A person can be destroyed,but not defeated--Reading The Old Man and the Sea" and "Rede mption and Resurrection--the light of Humanity in suffering" two thematic teaching designs.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the main research content of this paper and reflects o n the research.
