High school students’ emotions are characterized by the coexistence of intensity, violence, gentleness and delicacy, variability and stubbornness, introversion and expressiveness. The coexistence of opposites reflects the poor emotional management ability of senior high school students.Poor emotion management ability is one of the important causes of parent-child conflict.Research objectives:In study a,we investigated the status quo of positive emotions and parent-child conflict among high school students through questionnaire survey, and in study b,we explored the intervention effect of positive emotions group counseling on positive emotions and parent-child conflict among high school students.Research methods : In study a and study b,"Adolescent Positive Emotion Scale" and "Parent-child Conflict Questionnaire" were used for questionnaire survey.A pair of 450 students from a high school in Zhangjiakou city were surveyed by questionnaire. On the basis of the questionnaire survey in Study a,20 students were selected as subjects, with 10 students in the experimental group and 10 students in the control group. The experimental group received positive emotion group counseling intervention, while the control group did not. After the intervention of the experimental group, the two groups were tested by questionnaire.Conclusions:1.Positive emotions:The overall positive emotions of senior one students are at a medium level, and there are significant differences in gender.Boys have higher positive emotions and flow experience than girls. There was no significant difference in being an only child or not.2.Parent-child conflict: There is parent-child conflict among senior one students, but the overall situation is not very serious. There were significant differences in the intensity of mother-child conflict between different genders, and the score of female students was higher than that of male students. There were no significant differences in parent-child conflict, frequency of parent-child conflict, intensity of parent-child conflict, frequency of parent-child conflict and intensity of parent-child conflict.3.Parent-child conflict, frequency of parent-child conflict, intensity of parent-child conflict, frequency of mother-child conflict, intensity of mother-child conflict were significantly negatively correlated with positive emotions and their pleasure and flow dimensions. The pleasure dimension of positive emotions can significantly negatively predict parent-child conflict,parent-child conflict frequency,parent-child conflict intensity,parent-child conflict frequency and parent-child conflict intensity. The flow dimension of positive emotion significantly negatively predicted parent-child conflict,parent-child conflict frequency and parent-child conflict frequency.4.In the experimental group, positive emotions were improved, while parent-child conflict was reduced.Positive emotions group guidance could improve parent-child conflict. |
