| With the advancement of China’s urbanization process and the opening up of the three-child policy, more and more elderly people have become members of the "caring old drifter" group. They are growing as a product of rapid economic development and large-scale migration of young and middle-aged people, and the problems they face in changing their living environments are becoming increasingly significant. These problems will not only make the old drifters feel helpless and lonely about their current lives, but also make them marginalized in the mainstream life mode and social circle of the city, and it is difficult to form a sense of identity and belonging to the new living environment. At the same time, there are fewer academic studies on the elderly who have migrated with them than other vulnerable groups, and their role adaptation at the psychological, physiological and social levels needs urgent attention. In this paper, taking the "caring old drifters" in Qingdao X Community as the research object, taking the social role theory, social support theory and social integration theory as the theoretical basis, and applying the unstructured interview method, the questionnaire survey method and the literature research method to analyze the role transformation and adaptation of this group.Starting from the three dimensions of individual, family and community, the three types of role transformation process and role adaptation dilemma faced by the "caring old drifters" from work role to care role, family level from authoritative role to auxiliary role, and community level from central role to marginal role are specifically analyzed, and the reasons for their role adaptation to difficulties are specifically elaborated from individual, family, community, policy.Based on this, this paper designs seven group activities, recruits 8 qualified "caring old drifters",and intervenes through the group,in order to stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of the elderly in the process of role adaptation, and guide their family members to assist the elderly to establish a social support network and establish a sense of community belonging,so as to help the elderly solve the problem of role adaptation. The group activities are designed to take into account the "caring old drifters",their family members, their communities and other aspects,in order to provide services to the old drifters from multiple angles and in many ways. After the event, through the evaluation of the activity process and activity results,it is hoped that the follow-up related research will continue to deepen and expand, and provide professional help for the adaptation of the role of "caring old drifters". |
