The curriculum is all the experiences the learner has gained and the sum total of the student’s learning activities.History courses include historical facts,historical theory and knowledge,as well as multiple ways of presenting history,which are the unity of content and form.The history curriculum is constructed,it is the understanding and interpretation of past history,and it is the medium of teacherstudent interaction.The construction of history courses is based on historical materials,and picture historical materials are a method and means of constructing history courses.As historical materials,pictures are supplements and annotations of written materials;as methods,pictures are means,clues and perspectives for analyzing and interpreting history.Because of its intuitiveness and richness,picture historical materials can form a strong visual stimulus in teaching,help students understand concepts,analyze problems,and stimulate students’ interest.In addition,picture historical materials can strengthen students’ concept of "historical evidence".By analyzing the lesson "Roman City-States and the Roman Empire" with pictures and historical materials,you can pick out key concepts in the textbook,sort out the logical relationship of knowledge,and obtain teaching ideas,and then choose to determine the course content of this course.Analyzing historical textbooks and constructing course content from the perspective of pictures can provide a method and path for analyzing historical textbooks,supplementing the traditional mode of text-based analysis.
