"4:30 Class" is a community service platform that provides free tutoring,evening class hosting,interest activities and other services for children from after school to before their parents leave work.With the implementation of the policy to reduce the burden of basic education,parents have begun to worry about their children’s safety because they are too busy to pick them up in time and have no time to help them with homework.On the one hand,the emergence of "4:30 class" can alleviate these urgent needs and make the "vacuum time" for children have a place to go.On the other hand,in order to earnestly implement the relevant requirements of the Opinions of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province on Strengthening and Improving the Follow-up Work of poverty Alleviation relocation in Inhospitable Areas,and give full play to the positive role of community services in helping poverty alleviation,a new community "4:30 class" has been set up in resettlement sites for poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas of the province.To provide high-quality and diversified classroom services for the children of easy access points.In this paper,the author takes the t community as the research site and the children of the residents in the relocation community in Anshun,Guizhou Province as the research object,based on the theories of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,social learning,and stages of personality development,the research materials are mainly collected and obtained through unstructured interviews,participant observation was used to record the children.In the process of research,we find that there are some problems in “4:30 classroom”in t community,such as monotonous lack of diversity,monotonous interest cultivation group,lack of innovative education in classroom and lack of behavior modification guidance.After conducting interviews and surveys,social workers conducted a three-month social work service for this purpose,through the method of group work + community work,we have set up a variety of services for the “4:30 Class”members,and provided a better education service platform for children,let them better receive a diversified education to complete the positive social growth.As a result,the conclusions are as follows: the intervention of professional social work can promote the high-quality long-term development of “4:30 classroom”,the effective use of group work methods can meet the diverse growth needs of the left-behind children in the easy-to-support settlement,and the companionship of social workers and peer groups can make up for the emotional deficiency and family companionship of the easy-to-support settlement children.At the same time,it also provides social workers with experience and learning opportunitieshoping to provide reference and reference for social work involved in “4:30 Class”. |
