Practical Research On The Intervention Of Group Work In Relieving The Psychological Stress Of Caregivers In Nursing Home

With the deepening of China’s aging,pension institutions have attracted much attention because they can provide more comprehensive and professional pension services for the elderly,disabled and semi disabled.The burden caused by the physical,psychological,social relations and work consumption of long-term nursing staff in elderly care institutions leads to stress.How to help the caregivers of elderly care institutions alleviate the pressure and improve the quality of elderly care services is an issue that should be paid attention to in the development of elderly care services in China.In this study,we used participant observation,interview and questionnaire methods to collect data.We used the Caregiver Stress Relief Group in Wuhan Institution C as a case study,and used group dynamics as the research framework,the purpose of this study was to explore the formation and development of group motivation and its effect on group goal stress relief in the process of group service.It is found that in the dynamic input stage,the structural factors of the group determined by the group members will influence the formation and development of the follow-up group dynamics,and in the dynamic integration stage,the reciprocal group will give more interaction opportunities to the group members,in the stage of power output,the relationship and psychological pressure of the group members are improved,and the support network is formed.At this stage,the cohesion of the group reaches its peak,the group is the most motivated.In order to better understand the formation of group dynamics,this study from both static and dynamic to analyze the impact of group dynamics.In terms of static factors,first of all,group members are caregivers with the same identity,pressure source and needs,with high homogeneity,group dynamics are easier to form.Secondly,the social workers and carers in the old-age institutions are familiar with each other and can provide professional services for the group members.Third,the design of the group program will also affect the formation of the group dynamics,the reciprocal model of the group is more likely to promote the emergence of interactive atmosphere of mutual help,help the formation of group dynamics.Finally,the place support and supervision advice provided by the institution for the aged are also important factors affecting the group motivation.In terms of dynamic factors,first of all,the internal communication mode of the group has changed from chain communication to open communication,which is the best way to promote the formation of group dynamics.Secondly,the strength of group cohesion is closely related to the formation of group dynamics,and the homogeneity of caregiver identity contributes to the formation of group cohesion.Finally,the relationship between team members and social workers is equal,Democratic Group leadership style to promote group dynamics.
