In real life, children without guardianship lack adequate care and financial support, resulting in a series of difficulties such as emotional lack, truancy, theft, and inferiority. In this study,it was found that the emotional needs of children with guardianship deficiency are difficult to obtain adequate emotional support in the family, and because of the lack of care in the family, children with guardianship deficiency will receive the necessary emotional support by interacting emotionally from peers based on common emotions. The paper focuses on the children with lack of guardianship in F Street,Qinghai City,Guangdong Province, and conducts a study on children with lack of urban guardianship, and uses research methods such as interview method, participatory observation method, questionnaire survey method, etc.,and finds that children with lack of urban guardianship have the following problems in the process of growing up:gender and age are relatively concentrated, education supervision problems are numerous, material conditions are scarce, and the living environment faces multiple dangers. At the same time, children without urban guardianship need to increase communication, mutual help and mutual love;there is a need for correct guidance and setting an example;there is a need to encourage interaction and enhance trust;there is a need to strengthen support and build a support network. The evaluation effect showed that the intervention of the peer support group had a significant effect in the following two aspects: First, the emotional support of the peer generation played a leading role in the need for belonging, love and respect of the children who lacked guardianship, and had a subtle impact on the cognitive needs and subtle effects of the child’s growth process;Second, when children with lack of guardianship face troubles and setbacks, the emotional support of their peers has surpassed the emotional support of the family. It can also be demonstrated that the group’s social work has been effective in enhancing peer emotional support for children with missing urban guardianship.
