With the completion of the poverty alleviation task and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,my country has made great achievements in solving the "three rural issues",and rural development has also ushered in new opportunities, but there are still some urgent problems in the process of development. One of the problems to be solved is rural children in difficult circumstances. In recent years, the problem of the survival and development of children in rural distress in my country has not been properly solved, and the society needs to pay more attention to the survival and development of children in distress in rural areas.Today, children in distress in rural areas are still facing a difficult situation.Due to family poverty and other reasons, children in distress cannot be better taken care of;on the other hand, due to limited access to resources, children in distress will not be able to obtain sufficient social support and will not be able to cope with the changes around them; There are many researches on problem solving, and building a social support network for children in rural distress is one of them. This study starts from the theoretical perspective of social support network.First, using interviews, observation methods, etc.as research methods,to collect relevant information on children in distress in town W,and to fully understand and master the environmental resources of children in distress in town W;secondly, combined with social support Network theory attempts to analyze the current situation and existing problems of children in distress in W town from six aspects, including government, society, community, school, family, and neighborhood, and three dimensions of emotional support, economic support, and social support.and apply professional concepts and methods of social work, involved in the construction of social work and social support network for children in distress in W town;finally, summed up and sorted out the practical results of social work involved in the construction of social support network for children in distress in rural areas. The study found that: 1.Difficult children in W town generally have problems such as insufficient self-confidence,low self-efficacy,lack of educational resources, and lack of emotional support;2.The reasons for the family dilemma of children in distress in W town are complex and diverse, mainly manifested as low living allowances income, poverty due to disability, etc.,resulting in weak ability of families to obtain resources, limited external support, and weak overall economic support;3.There is little interaction between informal support subjects such as neighbors and peers, and informal support such as communities and families The main body’s support for children in distress is limited and social support is insufficient. The social support network for children in distress in W town is weak,so it is extremely important to establish a complete social support network for children in distress in W town to deal with the problems faced by children in distress in rural areas. Finally, the conclusions of this thesis are drawn: 1.The construction of the social support network for children in distress in rural areas must start from the children in distress themselves, pay more attention to the psychological construction of children in distress while paying attention to the provision of material resources,so as to "empower" and help children in distress. It acquires the ability to deal with difficulties and the surrounding;2.The family is the most important subject other than children in distress, and the family’s support for children is very important. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the construction of family networks and family relationships;3.Neighborhoods,schools,The influence of the community, social organizations, government and other subjects on children in distress is second only to the family, and they are an important social support force for children in distress.4.While giving full play to the strength of each subject, social workers also cultivate the awareness of interaction and information sharing among subjects, and play a professional role such as resource linker.Formal social support networks can promote policy advocacy and implementation, while informal social support networks can expand the social circle of rural children in distress and enhance their sense of belonging and self-efficacy.Therefore,the interaction between the formal support network and the informal support network can maximize the utilization of resources and time, and effectively improve the social support network for children in rural distress. In addition, based on the research content of this thesis and the specific local conditions, the author makes a superficial discussion: 1.Whether to establish a standardized social work evaluation system to intervene in the construction of social support networks for children in distress in rural areas, and to promote the standardized development of domestic work for children in distress;2.Social workers How to treat the problem of children in distress, whether to break the "problem-oriented" way of thinking, and construct a new practical model for social work to intervene in the work of children in distress;3.How social workers can establish a close cooperative relationship with the government;Furthermore,it puts forward reasonable suggestions for the development of rural children in distress,so as to promote the overall and healthy development of rural children in distress, and jointly promote the construction of a harmonious and beautiful community.
