A Social Capital Perspective On The Economic Adaptation Of African

Economic globalization promotes the globalization of resources,capital,production factors,etc.,and at the same time promotes the transnational flow of foreign populations.The status of my country’s international metropolises such as Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,and Chengdu has become more and more obvious.Among the transnational flows of foreigners in Guangzhou,Africans are particularly the most common.They live in Guangzhou along with the global flow of economic capital and engage in transnational employment and international trade.While promoting Guangzhou’s international economic and trade,Africans in Guangzhou are facing life.Economic adaptation issues such as housing,housing,education,commerce,etc.These economic adaptation issues have become increasingly prominent as the process of globalization accelerates.Based on Putnam’s perspective of social capital,this research explores the economic adaptation problems of Africans who come to Guangzhou from the perspectives of aggregated social capital,bridging social capital,and connected social capital,and finds that they frequently use homogeneity.Social capital,which excludes heterogeneous social capital,creates economic dependence,economic shortcomings,and diminishing economic marginal effects at the level of economic adaptation.From the perspective of social capital theory,it is found that the economic adaptation problems of Africans in Guangzhou are rooted in three reasons: the excessively strong aggregated social capital,the relative lack of bridging social capital,and the absence of connected social capital.Due to the high degree of involution and exclusivity of aggregated social capital,the bridging social capital and connected social capital of Africans in Lai Guangzhou cannot be formed and expanded,which intensifies the difficulty of economic adaptation for Africans in Lai Guangzhou.This research is based on case studies,through the analysis of the social work intervention of two typical African economic adaptation problems in Lai Guangzhou,using the task-centered model as the intervention model,social work organization as the platform,and social work in Lai Guangzhou through social work.The specific assistance process and intervention effects in the adaptation process are presented,and the economic adaptability of Africans in Lai Guangzhou is improved from the aspects of capital acquisition and utilization,and based on the thinking during the assistance process,the impact of social work in the economic adaptation of Africans in Lai Guangzhou is explored.Other forms of intervention are specifically manifested as: weakening of aggregated social capital,strengthening of bridging social capital,and building of connected social capital.In this way,it is better to promote the Africans in Guangzhou to adapt to the economic life of Guangzhou,and jointly promote the social and economic development of Guangzhou.
