| Changes in the trend of world immigration and the rapid development of China’s economy and society are attracting more and more foreigners.Guangzhou is an important commercial center city in China and a world-famous international metropolis.Its business-friendly environment attracts a large number of Africans to do business here.Most African businessmen in Guangzhou come to Guangzhou through "family mobility",and accordingly,there are a certain number of African children in Guangzhou.This study group of African children in Guangzhou as the research object,focusing on specific relationship in Guangzhou of African children to adapt to the thesis adopts the method of qualitative research,quantitative research is complementary,from the relationship with local residents,local peer group interaction,kin group contacts,exchanges between blood relatives four dimensions of the exchanges between the status quo of African children in Guangzhou for specific analysis.The results show that African children in Guangzhou have the best adaptability to the interaction with their kindred groups,but there are also differences in the interaction circles of the kindred groups.Low frequency,shallow interactions with local peer groups;Although African children in Guangzhou have a strong willingness to communicate and a high initiative to communicate,the interaction is not ideal.In other words,African children in Guangzhou have obvious problems in communication adaptation.According to the social support theory,the emergence of personal problems cannot only be summed up as subjective reasons,which are fundamentally caused by objective factors such as inadequate social support network,that is,various social supports should also be analyzed for the root cause of the communication adaptation problems of African children in Guangzhou.Through analysis,it is found that in addition to the lack of self-support ability,there are certain deficiencies in the social support network affecting the communication adaptation of African children in Guangzhou,which is embodied in the lack of school support and community support,resulting in the lack of important peer support groups for African children in Guangzhou.Family support power is limited,parents can not provide effective support and help;Lack of community support makes it difficult for African children in Guangzhou to interact with their neighbors in the community.Stereotypes caused by negative publicity of some we-media lead to social exclusion of African children by some people.It is precisely because of the lack of social support that African children in Guangzhou face difficulties in their adaptation to communication.From the perspective of social support theory and intervention,this study tries to use social work institutions as platforms and professional methods to intervene and solve the problems of African children in Guangzhou,such as lack of self-support,family support and,most importantly,lack of peer support.It also discusses the establishment of a social support system for African children’s communication adaptation in Guangzhou,so as to better solve the problem of African children’s communication adaptation in Guangzhou by providing multiple support. |
