| Subject service is one of the hotspots of library research in recent years.Subject service is an important guarantee for teaching and scientific research activities.The future development of University Library cannot do without subject service.Since the subject service was carried out in China in 1998,many explorations have been carried out in University Libraries in China.In terms of how to improve the quality of subject service and promote the development of libraries,university libraries are constantly trying to make more and more investment in personnel and resources.However,most of the existing efforts are based on the supply side,and it is difficult to support them only by the unilateral force of the library.With the advent of the era of big data,the needs of users are more personalized and diversified.Although user participation has attracted more and more attention,few people pay attention to the quality of user participation.The problems such as low adhesion and weak cooperation between subject librarians and users are gradually highlighted.In this context,based on the perspective of user participation,this paper combs the development of subject service in China,and finds that the demand of subject service for user participation is higher and higher,and user participation is of positive significance to the library.However,the current user participation of the library has not achieved the expected effect,the enthusiasm of user participation needs to be improved,and the level of participation also needs to be improved.Subject service needs the high quality participation of users to open a new breakthrough.Integrating the wisdom of users to make up for the limitation of Librarians’ knowledge is an important trend in the transformation and development of subject service of University Libraries in the new era.The evaluation of user participation quality is helpful to provide theoretical reference for library to better integrate user wisdom.Based on the above problems,this paper further explores the high-quality participation of subject service users.Through the methods of literature survey,network survey,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,the following research is carried out: first,the current situation of subject service platform is investigated to understand the basic situation of the construction and application of subject service platform and the current situation of user participation in China;The second is to summarize the influencing factors of users’ high-quality participation through the relevant research of user participation theory and subject service,so as to lay a foundation for the selection of indicators of users’ high-quality participation;The third is the establishment of user high-quality participation evaluation system.According to the influencing factors summarized in the previous paper,the evaluation index is initially selected.Through pre investigation and formal investigation,two exploratory analysis and one confirmatory analysis are carried out successively,and finally the subject service user high-quality participation evaluation system is established.Fourth,according to the established subject service user high-quality participation evaluation system,provide targeted suggestions for the library.Through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Analysis of influencing factors of high quality participation of users.User participation is a concept of behavior,which is influenced by many factors.User behavior is driven by perception,motivation,emotion and environmental factors.This paper summarizes the influencing factors and forms of users’ high-quality participation from three aspects: individual psychological factors,environmental factors and participation performance.(2)The construction of evaluation index system of high quality participation of users.From the summary of three factors,this paper initially selected three main dimensions,a total of 25 evaluation indicators to design the items.Through the results of the pre survey,the items were modified and optimized,and 29 new items were obtained,and the formal survey was carried out.First,exploratory factor analysis is used to determine the final 28 items and refine eight sub dimensions.Then,confirmatory factor analysis is used for empirical test.Finally,a multi-dimensional evaluation model with three main dimensions and eight sub dimensions is obtained.(3)The countermeasures and suggestions to promote the high quality participation of users.According to the evaluation model established by theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: strengthening the library’s own construction,drawing users’ psychology closer and promoting users’ participation performance,in order to provide reference and help for the development of library subject service. |
