With the rapid development of Internet technology and the continuous upgrading of Chinese consumption,China’s cross-border ecommerce platforms have emerged one after another, the cross-border ecommerce transactions is also expanding. In the process of rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,problems such as low commodity quality, online fake sales and false logistics are also emerging. Therefore, tracing the source of goods to ensure their quality has gradually become the focus of major cross-border e-commerce platforms and consumers in commercial transactions. However, due to the long transaction chain and many transaction subjects of cross-border ecommerce, there are still some problems and difficulties in commodity traceability. With the characteristics of decentralization, openness, transparency and not tampering, blockchain technology provides new ideas and schemes for cross-border e-commerce traceability. This paper combined with information asymmetry theory and transaction cost theory, combines blockchain technology with cross-border e-commerce traceability. The innovation of this paper mainly focuses on two aspects:first,it breaks through the previous single research on crossborder e-commerce in the research background;Second, the research direction focuses on the specific field of cross-border e-commerce traceability which is innovative.Firstly, this paper analyzes the current situation of cross-border e-commerce traceability, including different stages of traceability and traditional Traceability Technology.Secondly, combined with relevant literature,it is summarized that at present,China’s cross-border e-commerce often encounter logistics problems, commodity accountability problems, and commodity authenticity problems in the process of commodity traceability. Then, combined with the characteristics of blockchain technology, this paper analyzes the application of blockchain technology in the traceability process of crossborder e-commerce,and takes Tmall Global as an example to explore the value that blockchain technology brings to relevant counterparties when it is applied to cross-border e-commerce traceability. It is found that blockchain technology can solve the limitations of traditional Traceability Technology. It can also solve the problems in the traceability process. At the same time,it also reduces the transaction cost and information asymmetry when the transaction parties obtain information.Last, based on the research results, this paper puts forward policy recommendations. |
