| The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that"the issue of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers is a fundamental issue related to the national economy and people’s livelihood,and we must always prioritize solving the" three rural"issues in the work of the entire Party.The key to building a moderately prosperous society is to look at the fellow villagers.The issue of farmers is the fundamental issue of the three rural issues.Migrant workers are a product of China’s unique urban-rural dual system,a product of the rapid progress of industrialization and urbanization in China,and a huge demand for labor.They are a special group formed during the social transformation period in China,with distinct Chinese characteristics.The policy of new urbanization was proposed in the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.In the current context of new urbanization,China’s urbanization is rapidly developing,and the urban regional system has also formed an important stage of extremely close economic connections.New urbanization is becoming a new center of economic development and an important carrier for China to fully achieve its second centenary goal.The construction of modern cities and the management of real estate operations have led to significant development in the property management industry.The property management industry has become an important component of social management and development,and an indispensable backbone industry in modern urban management.It has been widely recognized internationally.The property management industry in China has attracted a large number of migrant workers for employment due to its own industry characteristics.They have made important contributions to the good operation of the city while also obtaining many employment opportunities.This is not only a "farmer"issue related to the three rural issues,but also a problem related to urban development and social progress.The property industry organically combines the two important issues of migrant workers and cities in China,and should be given full attention.However,due to various reasons,the professional skills level of migrant workers in the property industry is generally not high,which also determines that their income level is basically low.So how do migrant workers in the property industry understand the improvement of professional skills?Are there any corresponding practical actions? What are the influencing factors?At present,there is relatively little research on the improvement of vocational skills of migrant workers in the property industry.It is hoped that this analysis of the willingness and influencing factors of migrant workers in the property industry to improve their vocational skills can attract more scholars’ attention and conduct more in-depth and extensive research on this basis.This article selects migrant workers in the property management industry of the Science and Technology Park in Fengtai District,Beijing as the research subjects,and comprehensively uses methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,logistic regression analysis,and sitting discussions for analysis and research.Through this survey and research,it was found that the vocational skills of migrant workers in the property industry are generally not high,and they cannot meet the job requirements well.There is still great room for improvement in vocational skills.Further analysis reveals that there are five main factors that affect the willingness of migrant workers in the property industry to improve their vocational skills: awareness of vocational skill development,importance attached by the unit,practical significance of improvement,family support,and behavior of colleagues.The awareness of vocational skill development,as an important cognitive factor,plays an important role in the willingness of migrant workers in the property industry to enhance their vocational skills;The emphasis of the unit can actively promote the willingness of migrant workers in the property industry to enhance their professional skills;The greater the practical significance brought by improving vocational skills,the stronger their willingness to improve vocational skills;The support from families plays a significant role in improving the willingness of migrant workers in the property industry to enhance their professional skills;The attitude and actual behavior of colleagues in improving their professional skills can affect and drive individual willingness and behavior.Based on the research findings,this article proposes five suggestions: increase publicity efforts to further enhance the awareness of vocational skills development among migrant workers in the property industry;Property management enterprises should actively change their thinking and strengthen their emphasis on improving the professional skills of migrant workers in their own units;Establish a reward mechanism for improving professional skills,using "practical benefits" to motivate the initiative and positivity of various subjects;Strengthen the legislation and institutional construction of vocational skill enhancement,and maintain the continuity of policies;Enrich the ways and methods of improving vocational skills,and improve the vocational skill improvement system. |
