| Mathematics is an important basic discipline,which plays a vital role in the development of human society and individuals.However,in rural areas of Xinjiang,junior high school students generally face the problem of mathematics learning difficulties,which not only affects their academic achievements,but also may have a negative impact on their future career development.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to investigate the mathematical difficulties of rural junior high school students in Xinjiang,and propose improvement strategies,with a view to providing certain reference value for future education reform and improving rural education level.This research adopts the research method of combining literature reading and questionnaire survey.First of all,through literature reading and sorting out,the factors that affect junior high school students’ mathematics learning difficulties are identified;Secondly,a questionnaire was designed and 362 junior high school students in Xinjiang were investigated;Finally,the author analyzes the results of the survey and puts forward the factors to improve the junior high school students’ mathematical difficulties.The survey results show that family,teachers and individuals all have an impact on students’ mathematics learning.In terms of family,economic conditions,parents’ education level and family atmosphere will have an impact on children’s math learning.In terms of teachers,language level,teaching attitude and methods have a crucial impact on students’ mathematics learning.In terms of personal factors,the survey results show that students’ math learning achievements will be affected by factors such as math learning interest,math learning habits,math learning motivation,math anxiety,self-efficacy and language level.In the survey,this study also analyzed the influence path of students’ mathematical learning difficulties through structural equation model.The analysis found that teacher factors and family factors affect all dimensions of personal factors,and personal factors affect students’ learning difficulties.Based on the above findings,this study proposed suggestions to improve junior high school students’ mathematical difficulties from the level of education administration,school,teachers and family.In order to verify these theories,this study carried out a semester of teaching practice.In practice,this research has constructed a "five lines in one" teaching classroom consisting of "situation line+question line+game line+knowledge line+language line",and has carried out heart-to-heart talks and home visits in an allround way.At the same time,we have also increased extracurricular counseling and home-school joint activities to better support students’ learning.We found that after the end of the semester,students’ math scores improved significantly,and they also had a deeper understanding of their interest and motivation in math learning. |
