| Family is the basis of individual physiological and psychological development,good family relations and family functions are conducive to the development of good personality and psychological characteristics.With the evolution of social development,many families are changing in terms of structure and function.Some adolescents grow up in dysfunctional families,which are manifested as improper parenting methods and lack of family care and support,which have a negative impact on the mental health development of adolescents.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between family function and coping style of high school students,as well as the mediating effect of self-control,and to further explore the intervention methods and effects of group counseling activities in high school students.In the first study,1249 students from a high school in Lijiang were surveyed on family function,coping style and self-control by using Family Function Scale,Coping Style Questionnaire and Self-control Scale to explore the relationship among the three.In study 2,on the basis of issuing questionnaires and collecting relevant data,some students were interviewed.On the premise of voluntary participation of students,48 subjects with relatively low scores in self-control and coping styles were identified and randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Group counseling intervention was carried out for 24 subjects in the experimental group,while the control group was not exposed to the correlation,so as to explore whet her the group counseling activities for high school students’ self-control have a significant effect on improving the self-control and coping style of high school students.The specific results are as follows:1.There are significant gender and grade differences in the family functions of high school students,but not significant differences in the origin of students.Boys are better than girls in the aspects of role and behavior control,while girls are better than boys in the five aspects of problem solving,communication,emotional response,emotional intervention and general function.The problem solving of senior two and senior three students is significantly better than that of senior one students,but there is no significant difference in other dimensions.There is no obvious difference between urban high school students and rural high school students in all dimensions of family function.2.There are significant gender and grade differences in the coping styles of high school students,but not obvious differences in the origin of students.Girls take more help,retreat,fantasy,patience way,boys take more problem solving,vent way.The senior three students use more problem-solving,help and venting methods than the senior one and senior two students,and the differences in other dimensions are not obvious.Urban high school students adopt more ways to solve problems,help and vent,while rural high school students adopt more ways to retreat,fantasy and patience.3.There are significant gender and grade differences in high school students’ self-control,but the difference of students’ origin is not obvious.Girls have better behavior control and thought control,boys have better emotional control.High school students have better control over behavior and emotion,and high school students have better control over behavior and thinking.Urban high school students and rural high school students in each dimension of self-control difference is not obvious.4.There is a significant correlation between high school students’ family functions,coping styles and self-control.5.High school students’ self-control plays a significant mediating role between family function and coping style.6.After the secondary intervention of self-control group in high school students,the post-test scores of the experimental group in coping style and self-control were significantly higher than the pre-test level,while there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the control group.The post-test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group.This indicates that the high school students’ self-control group counseling intervention program developed by this research institute can effectively improve the high school students’ self-control and coping style.The results of this study reveal the relationship among high school students’ family function,coping style and self-control and the mediating role of self-control,which provides a feasible intervention plan for improving high school students’ coping style and self-control. |
