In 2020,due to the new coronavirus epidemic,China will comprehensively promote the work of "stopping classes,teaching and learning".The dissatisfaction and worry from schools,parents,teachers and students about learning online keep rising.The voice of education related personnel eager to return to traditional classroom teaching actually highlights the maladjustment of education parties,especially students,to learning online.How to comprehensively improve students’ adaptability to learning online,make students smoothly transition between traditional teaching and online teaching,and fully protect students’ physical and mental health,has obviously become a major issue in the field of education.This research mainly takes the students of three senior high schools as research object,which includes two urban schools and one rural school.The questionnaire is to understand the adaptation of the senior high school students regarding learning online,while it is based on interviews and open questions,using principal component analysis method,along with the previous researches and the results of interviews done by other researchers.On the basis that the reliability and validity are both qualified,the online learning adaptation questionnaire for senior high school students is compiled.On this basis,discusses the relationship between online learning adaptation,self-control and coping style of senior high school students.Through the research,the results show that:(1)The "Adaptation to Online Learning of High School Students" compiled has good reliability and validity and can be used as a measurement tool for adaptation to online learning;(2)Currently the adaptation level of high school students to online learning is at a medium level,and the adaptation level of urban and rural students is obvious;there are also significant differences in different grades,and the adaptation level of senior first grade students is higher than senior second grade students.However,there are no significant differences in terms of gender or subject;(3)The level of self-control of senior high school students is generally not high,but there are no differences in demographic variables(origin,gender,only child,grade,subject category);(4)High school students’ coping style scores in learning are relatively high,they tend to adopt positive coping styles.There are gender differences in which girls score significantly higher than boys;In addition,there is no significant difference in other demographic variables(student origin,whether only child or not,grade,subject,etc.);(5)High school students’ self-control,coping style,and online learning adaptation present a pairwise positive correlation.Moreover,the ability of self-controlling can significantly positively predict their online learning adaptation;(6)Coping styles play an intermediary role between self-control and online learning adaptation;Based on the results,I propose the following educational suggestions:(1)Families,schools,and teachers work together to create a good online learning atmosphere;(2)Subject teachers should improve internet application ability and cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability;(3)Psychology teachers should make full use of psychological classrooms to carry out theme education;(4)Use group counseling to provide educational intervention to individual students in need;(5)Cultivate students’ positive attitude and look at problems with a developmental perspective.
