With the deepening of the construction of China’s socialist country under the rule of law,the formation of a society under the rule of law that respects the law,complies with the law and uses the law has become an important part of the construction of China under the rule of law.The construction of a society under the rule of law cannot do without the cultivation of the consciousness of the rule of law,and the education of the rule of law has become increasingly urgent.Legal education in senior high school is crucial to the formation of teenagers’ legal concept.Legal consciousness has been incorporated into the core quality of senior high school ideological and political subjects.Legal education in senior high school,which is mainly based on senior high school ideological and political lessons,can help students establish legal concept and cultivate legal consciousness,and help build a socialist country under the rule of law.Firstly,briefly discusses the rule of law,the consciousness of rule of law,rule of law education and the connotation of rule of law education in high school ideological and political.With Politics and Rule of Law as the starting point,on the basis of textbook analysis,this paper analyzes the significance of rule of law education teaching in high school "Politics and rule of law" teaching.Secondly,it analyzes the status quo of rule of law education in Politics and Rule of Law.By means of questionnaire survey,interview and other forms,the author analyzes the problems such as single teaching method,limited teaching content,lack of effectiveness of teaching evaluation and poor teaching effect.According to the problems existing in the legal education of high school ideological and political courses,especially in the teaching of "Politics and the Rule of law",this paper analyzes the causes of the problems,including four aspects: teachers’ legal literacy to be improved,insufficient teaching resources mining,unsound legal education evaluation mechanism,and the influence of traditional educational ideas.Finally,in conjunction with political and rule of law teaching practices,a recommendation on rule of law education in political and rule of law teaching is proposed,first,to enrich rule of law teaching resources,third,to optimize rule of law teaching methods,fourth,to improve the rule of law assessment system and to strengthen multilateral cooperation.
